a racing beat stock muffler from the msp, not the after market one from racing beat but the stock one off of the msp.
i think that was effectively redundant.

If I understand what you are saying, that part has been available since the MSP came out....Since the MP3 came out for that matter.

yeah im pretty sure, i was just curious if i could get it for cheaper than buying it off of a site or something, but its ok, i think i found one.

Motor!!!

Hey i snapped a rod and instead of replacing it im just gonna replace the motor.

If anyone can point me in the way of a web site or anyone that could help me in tracking one down that would be great.

I have an 01 Mazda Protege Mp3 but any protege 2.0 motor would do.

I would greatly like to see a MP5 carbon fiber full body kit that has a more cutoff appearance to the bottom of car than the rounded appearance. With a different spoiler appearance and perhaps flashy carbon side skirts

Well this is the little list of things that would be nice to have for us Protege Owners I think all of these will sell like crazy if available..

1. Traction Bars. ( to help the FWD Proteges to get better traction )
2. More Suspension Accessories, like More GTspec toys, Braces, bars etc. other cars have an insane list of Gtspec toys available way more than what we got from them in the past for the Proteges.
3. Affordable 13-14" BBK front and rear or just front with E-brake.
4. Stronger and affordable tranny gears to hold more power.
5. Racing axles
6. Turbo Manifolds
7. Intake Manifolds
8. Fuel Rails ( Like the Perrin )
9. Adjustable cam gears
10. Complete lightweight engine pulleys OEM size
11. Lightweight crank pulley OEM Size
12. a Plate adapter to use a 6 speed trasnmission, Which ever works for us
13. Bigger Throttle Body
14. Racing coil packs.
15. A AWD KIT... I think if somebody can make a complete kit, people will pay almost any reasonable amount of money to convert their Protege's AWD, of course with strong components to hold power. a strong rear diff, axles etc.. THIS IS A MUST along with TRACTION BARS for the FWD market..

13. Bigger Throttle Body
I looked into a place that might do it, here is what he told me

Hi Wilson,
Thanks for the pics.
I'm glad to see it's not a drive by wire TB. I don't do those. From what I can tell from the pics I think it would be a good candidate to bore out. You said it was a spare TB so that helps. There's always a chance when doing a new item that the machining will be a disaster. (cutting through the side, etc.) I've done TB machining for 13 yrs though so I doubt I'll ruin your TB but would hate to prototype one that's needed
for your car.
As a ballpark price I'll say ****which includes the return shpg. The service will include, disassembly, cleaning, beadblasting, modifying the shaft to accept the larger throttle plate, removing the top half of the shaft to increase flow (halfshaft mod) machining the bore and making a custom fit throttle plate. I'll paste in some info below for sending your TB.
(BTW, should the TB not be machinable for whatever reason, there will be a $20 charge to cover return shpg and some of my time.)
Thanks again,
Steve

I will be sending it out soon, I am going to take before and after photo. Then I hope to dyno a before and after.
