Protege sedan owners: Where and what direction are your sub(s)?

Where in the trunk (front, back, side, etc.) did you guys put your subs and what direction are they facing? I'm asking because I'm thinking of getting a sub and wonder what enclosure to get and how this is going to impact my trunk space.

Not a sedan, but this is how i did it.. im not sure if you have enough room as my old p5, but from what i remember from my friends sedan, we had just about the same amount of space width wise.. (someone correct me if im wrong though..) Hope this helps!!

I made a fg box for mine that fits in the rear of the trunk near the pass side taillight. I also made an almost identical box for my maxima, but on the drivers side. For a sedan, I would always recommend facing the subs toward the rear...you'll get much better sound...

Facing the rear usually produces the best results in a sedan with corner placement coming in a close second. You can face them forward too, but if you do that you must create a baffle to seal off the front of the woofer from the trunk so that it fires only into the cabin.

mines facing rear. sorry for the bad pic its all i have at the moment.

Any advantage to doing that? Will it be louder?
