Yes, even if it is an Auto, it still has the GT-S engine, it is still 200lb less than the MP3, it is still 180hp, it is still possible to go up to 7000rpm and kick in the VVTL-I. I really don't think the MP3 could keep up with the GT-S Auto.
I have never heard that the ES could go faster than the MP3. But consider the MP3 has the 17" rims, it really slow down the car a lot.
I had beaten my friend's GT auto, but it was a close race. For the manual, I say the GT have 60 and we 40, depend on the driver.
I know you guys like the MP3, and so do I. But the reality is, GT-S is obviously faster. However, the GT-S is priced at 33000-35000CDN and while the MP3 is only 24000CDN. Even if we are slower than the GT-S Auto, there is no need to feel shame.
