protege is going into mazda tommorow morning.. its tranny went bybye.. like to kill me when it acted up
i was about to enter a tunnel, front tires locked up, then i heard a loud bang, and i put puted back to my house.. something broke, dont know what.. but something broke.. inside the tranny, i am guess differential cause i have no codes.. or pending codes..
my brother inlaw at mazda(master tec) said he will check it and claim it on my extended warrenty and if it wont set a code he will make it set one... (angel)

i am starting to hate days off, 3 weeks ago, had a saturday off, katrina showed her face in the gulf, had last saturday off, rita came, i had yesterday off, tranny blew almost launching me into a wall in the tunnel intrance...

Nice to have connections. Hope you get a new tranny. Im doing my truck trans right now 600 plus out of pocket.

Judgeing by the 2nd gear grinding in the protege, wont be long for its repair. Got to hold the clutch in take a deep breath and place it in 2nd to keep it from grinding. That totally ruins the fun of driving a stock pro. Less than 60,000mls on car. Good luck.

i have been threw the 2 strongest storms of the century, not direct hits but damn we got alot of water.. wind was kickin at about 90 to 100 where i am at..

but back to the topic, they didnt take my car, i have to brign it back tommorow morning and the adjuster will look at it.. and see if he approves it.
