protege garage is a joke (in case it gets deleted from the sponsor area)

this is a repost from a thread i started on the protege garage sponsor area... but in case it gets deleted, I wanted to put it here as well (please dont delete both, mods.... Im only stating facts)

So.... Ill try to be a bit more polite on this post, since this forum isnt as open as others where I already released some steam...

I want to say that im completely dissatisfied with protege garage's work.
I placed an order with them for an ETS 3.25" intercooler (first order from them ever) because they CLAIMED they had it in stock, on the other hand, **********, who i normally order from, didnt have it in stock.

so, I placed an order almost a month ago... I hear nothing from the for 2 weeks, Im freaking pissed off, email them, call em multiple times, nothing..... eventually I reach them and the dude I talked to tells me sorry, but they had already set it for shipping and it should be at my place either tuesday or wednesday (of the 3rd week after placing the order)... So im not happy, but im like... alright, s*** happens.

wednesday goes by, and Im like... alright, im gonna wait till the end of the week before I talk trash about them. Friday, nothing... I come back from work yesterday (following week)... NOTHING!...
these guys are just ****** mocking me... obviously the package wasnt shipped when they said it was.
I STILL dont have my intercooler after a ****** month and who knows if im even getting it this week.

THE BEST PART IS.... they didnt even have the decency to wait for the package to arrive to charge me the 500+ dlls.
surely, they didnt forget to charge me...

I just thought Id point this out on this forum... not sure if threads get deleted here or what... but if you look around other forums.... like those for mazdaspeeds... you will find many horror stories about PG (which i didnt read cause I didnt expect this)...

keep your eye on your products in other websites before ordering with these guys, unless youre not really in a hurry and wanna be charged a month in advance.
 
Totally hear you. I hate bashing small businesses, as I've seen firsthand how difficult it is to run one, but PG is just been difficult to deal woth. I ordered Racing Beat springs for my previous Mazda3 in the last week of July, and am still trying to get refunded as they never showed up (hell, they haven't even been shipped!), but I was certainly charged for them! Ken seemed helpful in his emails, but alas, I never seemed to see either my money nor my parts.
 
Sorry for not updating this before but... I did get in touch with Ken. Hes been pretty good at communicating with me as far as the status of my order. And i do wanna say that as much as i feel bad for bashing him (thought it was more of a company than a single guy running this).... business is business, and I did place that order a while ago so... yeah
anyway, last thing I heard, he got in touch with ETS and the package was shipped on thursday. I should have it by monday.
If you do wanna place an order, I suggest you contact him instead of doing it through his website, maybe he can be more efficient that way, it seems he might get overloaded with some stuff. At least if u contact him before ordering, he might be able to tell you when you could expect your packages.
