1994 Honda Accord Wagon

I can go back further if you want. I assure you - mazda did not invent the 5 door wagon. Hit google and type in "5 door wagon" and see how many results you come up with.
I swear to god if you ever comapre my car to a Honda again I'll slit your throat

;)

The rx-7 was out of production in the 90's? You sure? Might wanna check that out again. In fact, I'd be willing to bet a fairly large amount of money that they continued to rool off assembly lines far past the early to mid 90's.

Here's a fact, Hyunai has one decent car, the Tiburon. Kia has one decent car, the spectra5. I would never even consider buying either one for a number of reasons. First off, they have only ever have one car each that I would even consider driving. Mazda, on the other hand, has the 6, the 3, the Miata, the rx-8, s*** even the MPV is pretty nice for what it is. Ford has the Focus, the mustang, the f-series trucks. Chevy has the Corvette, the Cobalt, the Camaro, their trucks. Honda, the Prelude, the Civic, the Accord, the CRX. Toyota, the Supra, the Celica, the MR-2, the tC. I could go on.

My point is, Hyundai and Kia both suck monkey nuts at designing and building cars. Yeah they're young, woopdefuck. The fact is, they have no reputation except for having a need for that warranty because their cars break. CONSTANTLY! I have never known a single person with a Korean car (I've known probably 25-30 people with one or the other) who has not bitched and moaned about how crappy their cars quality was. In ten years, they might be good. I might think of them differently than I do now. But as of right now, I would never ever ever buy any car from either company.

I am constantly confusing my car with IS300s. I swear!

WOW! ME TOO! Until one pulls up next to me and then next thing I know is I am not even past the stoplight yet and it is a good couple car lengths ahead of me! Damn Lexus and their Toyota blood!!!

KIA is having an identity crisis fo real. Remember what they did before they copy catted the protege5!!! They should go to jail for what they're doing

hyundai elantra isn't a bad car, well not the 2004's. my sister has one, the only thing i dont like about it is it rides too smooth for me and handles like a granny car, such as the lincoln towncar, mercury grand marquis, and so on. it isn't a fast car either. you get everything u would want for like 2k to 4k cheaper. her car only cost 14,500 and is fully loaded with 6 in dash cd changer, power everything, moonroof, a 10 year 100k miles warranty, and some other stuff. go put these things on a 2004 civic, corolla which is cheap as i dont know what because they have a long list of problems(bad car), sentra, or even a mazda 3 and your paying above 17k with a warranty that isn't even close to 100k miles. i dont know how long you keep your car for, but im pretty sure the car will be gone by the time it gets to like 60k. im pretty sure the car wont have any problems at 60k, and she only owes like 7k on it.

well i saw the new spectra 5 at the local mall today and sat in it as a spokes person for the dealer talked a bit to some other guy...pretty much its a cheaper protege5...the rear bumper looks very similar upclose....it looks smaller then the protege5 and less sporty and a little taller id say? not as sleek...interior wise well it was cheap....not saying our mazdas have the best interiors but it was cheaper...and it was pretty much what everyone has said or will say "its a cheap protege5" or "its another wagon but cheaper" i concur...the guy said it has a "sporty suspension" id love to see if it could out handle a stock p5...

bottom line they are trying to get into a somewhat growing sector of the car community...i could be wrong on this but companies are churning out more wagons now then they did a few years back...all power to them seeing as how they are another car company and employ people and are able to feed many a fam...

plus i think kias and hyndais lose retail value more then our cars? i could be wrong on this

so the 6 has 6 doors or somthing.... was the 5 really the number of doors .... cuz then the mazda 3 has 5 doors y didnt they just call it the mazda 5.... although i know there is coupe and hatch version but still

Ummm, it's the Protege5. That means it a derivative of the protege with 5 doors. The 6, 3, and even the new 5 are on a totally different naming system.

pro5maniac, of course they lose their value fast. They drop like a rock, because if you're gonna buy a car, why pay $10,000 for a used one when you can get a brand new one for $12,000?

Protege02, you're being a bit optimistic if you're saying you're sure it'll last 60k+ miles when she's only had it for 7K. It's like pancakes, they're delicious at the beggining because they're cheap and easy to make, but by the end you're ****** sick of em and they're all soggy and s***.

That's right bitches, kia's and hyundais are pancakes.(cool)(birthday)

the p5 is a sport wagon as it is classified. the accord is a station wagon. there is a difference. :D

The p5 set the stage for sportiness (in a wagon dare i say). you couldnt do the things in an accord you can in a p5. would you consider the national lampoons wagon in a class along side a p5....i think not.
Don't tell me you can do more to the p5 compare to the accord wagon. I had one before hand and there was parts and parts out the ass for that car. FYI: if our p5's are consider as a "sports wagon" and that accord wagon is consider as a "station wagon", then it's really sad that a station wagon is faster than the sport wagon.

You dont get out much do you?;) MY mom used to drive us around in a 79 Chevy wagon with a 350. After my uncle messed with it for a while, it ran 13's. <!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

Yep, my parents had an old Chevy Wagon with a 350, my brother and I used to take it out when we were in grade school, we'd peel out all over the neighborhood and then put it back in the driveway like nothing ever happenned.

Best part is, we never got caught for it.

Haha, we got rid of ours when I was like 6, so the driving urge hadnt hit me yet, but if it had that early, I'd most likely be dead right now.

Well, my insurance company sees the P5 as a station-wagon.
That's fine with me since it will keep my insurance payment cheap.
