Progress springs

I do not know anything about the company that makes that spring. contact progress racing and see what the drop is, and get a feel for if they even know what they're doing.
progress auto website

Be aware they dont even list mazda on the list of springs, so they may just be using springs from another car that might not be the best for our cars.

the progress group is a very reputable company. the coilovers they make for hondas are fantastic . . . short-stroked, too. and affordable.

i think they're probably just a bit lazy on updating their website. i'm interested in their springs, so maybe i'll give them a call and find out what the deal is. :D

EDIT: looking at the options auto site again, it lists 1.5" drop for the progress springs. hmmm... :p

Cool beans. contact them and let me know what you find out. Despite all the problems people have with coilovers on this site, I would advise waiting, and saving up the 2bills more to get the coilovers. For just a squidge more (my own word) you get full adjustability. Ride at stock, ride a little low, or slam it when it's parked in the drive. mmmmmmmmm.....slammed.(laugh)

i just got off the phone with a lovely woman at the progress group. ;) here's the lowdown (no pun (no) :D):

intended for: MP3 and MP5
drop: 1.5" F/R
spring rates: 150F/145R (i.e., not very stiff)

now, does anyone know what the stock spring rates are? and the eibach pro-kits?

these rates are pretty soft so they'd probably be okay with the stock struts, at least for a little while. ;)

price at options auto is $140....dirt cheap. i may get a set. :p

Those spring rates sound really soft....
Can anybody find out he rates of the Eibach Pro kits..
cuz if this is true ill get some progress springs..
i dont want a stiff ride at all

of course it's true, i spoke with the manufacturer! :p

a call to eibach may be in order to get the spring rates, as i don't think anyone on here knows.

Despite all the problems people have with coilovers

huh?

anyway...progress did the suspension on the civic we're gonna kill on the salt flats.hehe

:bs: I've heard from alot of performance shops and individuals that say progress springs are pieces of s***. A friend of mine had them on his Civic and told me it was one of the worst mistakes he could have made. Dont be cheap! Get something reputable. Intrax, Eibach and H&R are dominating the lowered atmoshpere of our P5's and P3's..Do u though..:D

SCC is very picky, and they dig the progress coilovers, a lot.

my theory is...don't judge unless you have first-hand experience. seriously. ground control makes a great product, i've had 3 sets. but they get a horrible rap on the subaru boards (i-club is particular), and the few people over there who actually use them (i was one) really like them.

my two cents. ;)

friends experience wit progress

sup all its been a long time since i've been up in here. and to my amazement theres some new tight s***. as to the question about the springs the price is right and as for quality not to contradict you KOREY CAOS but many of my friends with civics have them and they all ride nice infact all import shops out here in AZ recommend them 1 for price and 2 durability and believe me imports are mad crazy out here in PHOENIX AZ i mean just with in a 20 mile radius around my house theres about 6 stores and Phoenix is way bigger than 20 miles around so just imagine. as far as i am concerned i am glad to hear this news and cant wait now to get my springs in a week rather than a month cause i am waiting for $$$. so piece out peeps and enjoy your MAZDA'S. www.piecturetrail.com/4drmp5atr peep it you'll see my ride and some others in my area:p  and sign my guest book to let me know whos been there

We have been selling Progress products in canada for more than 6 years, if anybody who is looking for their springs, feel free to email me at info@sparkco.com. Thanks!

I really don't understand why peoples are still buying so-called "brand name" products. Read the news my friends! Progress Group is really working very hard.

If one day I start to think about brand name..........then......should I buy my self a M3 or MP3????

It is just my own point-of-view !!

i had them on my integra and was very pleased, i would get them for my p-5 but i have the money for the teins just waiting for the release.....:)
