Well, it was actually a week's worth of work.
I spent an afternoon installing the suspension/sub-frame/tow-bar... a day removing rust and sanding the body for paint... and another day painting.
(yippy)haha.. My gf said the same thing.that is so exciting. im so excited!!! haha
The only thing stopping me from finishing the car in a week is the fact that I do not have any brake components to put on the car.
I was planning on getting new tires and repainting them.. no need to waste energy masking them off.Christopher! Did you get paint on my Miata wheels??
Hell, I'm just happy to see that they live on on a race car!

At the moment, nothing.
Plans are to have a wilwood dual master cylinder brake/clutch pedal set-up (with a balance bar)
-Wilwood superlite 4-piston calipers
-13" rotors
-4x100 hats
-AWR rear drum to disc conversion
-wilwood calipers, rotors and hats
I don't want to go with OEM MSP calipers due to the fact they overheat way too fast.
Not on the race car... but I finally have a transmission to go in the red car (so I can keep the cryo'd gears and Quaife LSD for the race car).

Just received some tail lights for the race car... since the original tail lights from the parts car were destroyed in the Atlanta tornado awhile back.
Just ordered some .580" Moroso extended wheel studs and a momo mod 07 steering wheel.
At least it'll look like a normal car from the outside soon.

Yep. The Quaife is still in the red car.
The 'stock' transmission will be going in the red car while the racing trans will be going in the white race car.
I'm using an exedy stage one full-face until it runs out of life.
After that I'll be going with a custom 6-puck friction disc with the exedy pressure plate.
I still deciding on that one.
I'm getting a Brembo big brake kit that already has the 5x114.3 hats for the front.
But I already have the cnc machined AWR drum-to-disc brackets for the rear which is 4x100.
I might mix match them to keep my mind at ease.
(I highly doubt anyone would try to steal rims with different lug patterns. lol)

hybrid lug setup?? I don't see why not a lot of wheels can be had in both of those patterns.

OK, confused, did you get ripped off, or did you take them off to stop from getting ripped off? I'd hope you'd block the car better than that...

Having different lug patterns might help deter theft since they'll be 50% useless to anyone else.
