Problems Starting and Engine Stalling

This forum has been an incredible resource over the last few years and I'm hopeful it might once again help solve a problem I'm having with my MSP. Car is a 2003.5 with ~190k miles. While the car has served me well and been extremely reliable over the last 6 years I've owned it, there has been a nagging issue which I can't seem to solve. I have searched the forums extensively and, as detailed below, have tried troubleshooting numerous areas:

Symptoms:
Car cranks for 5-10 seconds before starting
Occasional stumble while cruising on highway (1-2 times per tank)
Engine dies suddenly - has happened both at idle and while cruising at highway speed
When engine dies, it usually won't restart right away, but will restart after sitting 5-10 minutes
RPM's occasionally dip and then recover at idle, but otherwise idles smoothly
Have gotten engine code P0171 - Engine too lean (Bank 1)

Recent parts replaced trying to solve the problem:
Fuel pump
CMP sensor
Oxygen sensor
CKP sensor
Timing belt
PVC valve
Spark plugs, coils and wires - plugs are gapped correctly

Other info/tests:
Vacuum holds steady at 20-21 inches
All cylinders have full compression and are within 10% of each other
Car does not hesitate or stumble during acceleration
Symptoms have caused no noticeable impact to fuel economy or power
Tested throttle position sensor - resistance is within range
My thoughts are its either a fuel issue or sensor issue, but I don't know what to troubleshoot further

At this point, the issue has persisted for the last 6 months. With many of the new parts noted above, the car has seemed to improve, but the difficulty starting has always remained. Whereas the car was driveable before, the engine now cuts out frequently. I'm out of ideas and beyond frustrated. At this point, I almost want to just get rid of the car, but would really like to get it running reliably. Any ideas would be helpful and greatly appreciated.

I would clean the MAF sensor and replace the EGR valve which both can cause stumbling, stuttering, loss of power, and possibly the engine dying.

+1 clean the MAF and clean the EGR and see if that helps. You have already done what I would have tried. Your starter could be getting old causing the slower crank, otherwise it sounds like a vacuum leak causing the slow crank or a lack of compression.
