Powercoating Sway Bar

Hey guys, well I have a used Racing Beat front sway bar in my garage. Ive been debating weather or not to powdercoat it an orange to match my ksports and gt spec parts. I imagine it would look really good, instead of it being red where it would stand out alot more. I was wondering if the "rubber stoppers"(that stop the bushings from falling off), would stand up to the heat of powdercoating and if i would need to get new ones?

Oh also how much do you guys think it would run?

rubber stopping? the sway bar can be taken apart. at least my rear one came apart easy. took off the bushing and the endlinks. thats why i dont know what your talkin about rubber stoppers?

the stoppers he is talking about are what keep the sway bar from sliding side to side. iirc they can be removed and re-installed or replaced fairly easily

the way they are clamped on is a one time deal I'm pretty sure, they are not designed to be clamped and unclamped and clamped again.

Ummm no they come off. There is a slit cut in them and they slide off. I had to do it when i installed my progress sway bar....yeah...

I'm not talking about the bushings, I'm talking about the stops.
I didn't personally try to move mine, but this is what I am basing my info on:

The stop I am talking about can be seen on the first pic in that thread, on the right side.
