Power Sliding

that brings up another questions, when i break, and accelerate, won't that kill my breaks on my front wheel?

You shouldnt be using your brakes at all. Use your E-brake and if it gets loose take it to the dealership and tell those lazy bastards to fix it, but dont tell them how it got loose, for the love of god.....

It's very easy to adjust the tension of your ebrake. Just a nut near the handle

on FWD yes. You hold the ebrake and get the front wheels spinning. Control the burn/smoking w/ the throttle and then just let loose the dogs of war...I mean, ebrake. :D

found out if u pull the e-brake and keep the gas going(power going to the wheels) u can actualy do them realy good. i got good at doing those into my school parking lot. but my E-Brake doesnt grab to well anymore...think i stretched the cable

FWD.

:tard:

(stupid) you odviously haven't been to many drifting competitions the two that i have seen a fwd car was the one that won the competition, and he was up agianst 240's. He drifted better than any of the other rwd cars.. he was in a honda civic si.. sad but true.

a fwd with the weight ratio and power that the mp5 has is not a drifter, its possible, and so is ruining your car in the process.

get a rwd car if thats what u want to do, dont blaspheme on your mazda, its to be loved not lumped

Some explaing about it .... you CAN"T power slide a FWD car. The best thing you can do is to "slide" the car, it looks like you are drifting, but in fact you are sliding, it is the effect caused when you do a sudden change of direction making the inertia carried by the back of the car to exeed the one in the front, at this point you "turn" into the direction you are "sliding" (oposite turn) in order to correct your trayectory.

umm wat u can do to help u drift is spend allot of money and convert ur car to a rear wheel drive or u can just ues ur e-brake on a turn

The way I learned was to wait until it snows..... I didnt look to see where you lived, but if you can get out when it snows thats the best time to learn how it feels. Anyway, after it snows go out into a parking lot and go about 25, turn sharply, then yank on the ebrake. Then once you get the feel for that start trying to give it gas and keep your car facing in the direction you want to end up going. It takes some playing around with the gas and ebrake, but then when you get comfortable enough try it on a road.. (wide open road)... But when you do try it on wet pavement after snow, be ready for a less smooth ride;)

have fun and dont go over your comfort zone!
