Actually I was hoping to be able to fit 245's in the rear, but when I mocked up the flares 225 is gonna be the limit.

Not for what I'm looking for. The flares covered up the tire completely with those 225's mocked up.

I will be getting lower profile tires all around though, just so happened that the tire all around were the width I was looking for.
