Poll: Windows down or A/C on

Just wondering how peeps here like pimpin' with the windows down and the tunes a booming or do you prefer A/C on full blast and keep the tunes to yourself?

I try to be at least somewhat respectable about other drivers when I've got the tunes on and the windows down.

Seeing as since I have had the car I really haven't had the need to use the air conditioning I'd say once it really warms up I'll use the air a lot more and turn the tunes up more.

Somewhat related I guess.....I just made a new mix of classic rock/alternative music for cruising the streets....have I mentioned I love our factory deck??

I just keep the windows down to save gas and horsepower the AC would use up. My body's got it's own AC I ain't payin' for another one. As for the tune "bumpin'" with the window down you aren't "pimpin'" you just look stupid. keep the music to yourself

well although I voted for WINDOWS DOWN....there are just times you can't.....I WISH the weather here was condusive to windows down driving all the time...I wish the weather here made A/C AN OPTION!! its NOT....at 100 deg. F and 90+ humidity....A/C is not an option...but rather a way of life in the summer. HOWEVER...when its possible...I drive with the windows down....much more enjoyable..

oh and melicha8....the little tiny compressors that are on our cars don't eat up that much HP or decrease your milage very much at all....and the only way that running with your windows down is going to save you anthing is if you are doing all your driving in town....for at highway speeds the increase in DRAG on your car with the windows down is going to cost you more in the mileage department than running your A/C.

I'm with Nuke on this one. In Texas, the weather is usually HOT AS HELL in the summer. In the winter and spirng I try to roll with the windows down. I like sharing my music with the rest of the world.

I'd rather have windows down, but living in Texas it is impossible. WAY TOO hot over here.

If and when I have my MP3 to drive, I like to cruise with the windows down and the tunes up. As it gets hotter (or on the off chance there is heavy traffic (which NEVER happens on Long Island or The City ), I'll flip on the AC and continue crankage of de tunes.

Driving back from work I always love to fly home from Long Island back to Queens with windows down on a sunny warm day, but of course if I get stuck in traffic ya gotta roll those babys up and throw on the A/C.
