Police P5 Spotted!!!!

IMO auto tranny's only suck because eventually the bands and all the other components are bound to wear out 5 times faster than a well treated manual transmission. Any auto tranny I have had has lasted no longer than 80,000 miles with out needing some sort of work. I have never had to rebuild a manual tranny yet (some had over 250,000 miles and worked perfectly).

That and you can gank more powa from your squirrels.

As far as people who choose to drive autos, it's all preference. Auto drivers can prolly take sips from their sodas a hellavalot easier than I can! :D

that is the only thing i miss about automatic, sipping drinks, and talking on cell phone. yes cell is evil with car, i try not too! its also hard eating a big mac with sauce dripping down on my pants while the engine is revving to 5 grand in a turn trying to shift! as i think about it, its hard trying to choke down a big mac anyways, its like Tomaco, icky, but its soooooo good!

hell, now i really wish i could get some good pictures of my mp3 w/ all my lights (strobe and LED) for the fire department for you all to see. i'll figure out how to get the pictures to come out right eventually.

get a digicam with a variable exposure time and take a long exposure shot. the neon and glow and all that comes out very nicely then. and it's gotta be in an area that is totally devoid of outside light.

I drive auto. No one in my family drives manual. No one showed me how, and frankly, I dont care that much. It keeps me humble on the road. I never race because I know I'll lose.

Back off! I love AUTO you phucks! Haha, jk.

cop with p5?? wow i did think of installing strobes but never thought there really was an actual one :D

I drive manual, but see benefits of auto such as holding your cell phone while making your grocery list when you should be paying attention to the road. Also, :wtf: with a P5 police? Seems like you could outrun them unless it is tricked out and they are trying to get people to attempt to race them only to pull them over. Here in SC, you'll see Mustang, Z28's, airplanes, and 5 Series BMW police, but not a f---ing Mazda!

It would be cool to get strobes on the front and rear lights and have it go off when your alarm is set off. :D That would draw attention to would be theives!;) Back to the police thing, I can't say I would pull over for a guy in a car like that. Where is his uniform? These days there are a lot of impersonaters out there trying to rob you.

It's nearly impossible to get a good picture, because the strobe flashes are just too quick. I tried it with my old car (I have strobes and LED's as well) and it didn't work at all.

My DX's (green car) auto would be okay, if only I had known the last owner didn't change the fluid at 90,000 mlies. :( When I opened it up it was pretty obvious. :( Now, it leaks whenever parked on a hill. I don't really want to touch that car anymore, but I can't sell it with the transmission like that. Oh yeah, I found lots of metal shavings on the magnets in the pan. I guess maybe I shouldn't have raced the car with an automatic transmission (and 103hp, wtf!). lol.

That being said, the auto was fine for the street, but really damn annoying on track days. Plus, EVERYBODY lapped me. :'(

No, there is no insult to those in the forum that cannot drive a manual transmission! Just that the 5-speed's are a lot more peppy and racier! I have a 5-speed in my 03 ES and a friend of mine bought an 03 ES but with the sportmatic transmission (combo of auto and stick without the clutch)! Out of the two, mine is faster! And to compete at all in his, I had to throw it into clutchless manual mode! Just that the auto's can get a little boring!
