I just called JT and they said that they don't have a kit for the 2002+ Proteges. Did you take the kit for the '99-'00 sedan and customize it to fit?

I can't call BS...yes the IC looks chopped, but that's becuase it's behind a chicken wire grille. Yeah I know it's not chicken wire...but it's the best way to describe it. As for BS on the mods...nope. That IC is hooked up...although I have to wonder hy you'd use the dam stock air piping if you got the pipe redone!

As for the last pic, with the yellow...I can't explain that away. But...if you really went through all the trouble of getting this thing to look right, would you leave a HUGE yellow blotch? Helllll no! In other words...Yeah...it's real.

However...comparing to Honda boards is ridiculous. derrick is a mod here...he's learned not to say stupid things in general (like the MSGirl situation... ). He either said this as:
1.) a joke...which went over everybody's heads
2.) a true call for proof. I for one would like to see larger photos. 640x480 min, 800x600 preferred. That would allow further scrutiny...of the hot chick that Apexi knows!

well if isnt the a photoshop someone really got screwed or didnt do it right, because the gaps on around the headlights are ridiculous and color seems to be lighter than the rest of the car..maybe didnt colormatch it right or maybe not enough coats i dont know it just looks "funky"......or it could be the way the pic was taken

OK, heh this is soo funny.

Anyway, when I called JT he said they had an 03 bumper there, and that's what they sent to me, as far as I know the body shop didn't do any modifications other then cleaning up the fiberglass and molding the autoexe grill to the bumper. The yellow blotch is the ******* reflection of a yellow P5 right beside my car which is owned by "bigwoofer", I don't see any big gaps around my headlights, but I've only seen the car in person and I own it, and the IC is hooked up my car, it was the prototype car for ION Performance's FMIC kit. You know all those pictures in ION's thread? That's MY car! WTF is wrong with you people? Our vancouver club is way better then this s***, I can't believe I had to type all this, this board makes me ill. To many damn jealous dudes out there I guess, unless there's another explaination someone can give me?

Oh and with the stock CAI piping, we just haven't had time to fabricate the new piping, it's in the works.

For the dyno rough question:

I think its rough because I'm still running the stock ECU and fuel system, Im putting ni an EFC and a voltage dampener? in a few weeks to try to clean up all my fuel delivery problems. I still get the hesitation at stock boost(5.4psi) and I get the fuel cut at high boost(9psi).

Yes the IC is off center, I won't get this fixed immediately because when I go forged internals I'm getting a huge ******* intercooler and we'll make sure it's centered then.

Anywho...thanks for the explanation on the yellow reflection. Must have gotten a heavy flash off the surface of the car to get that much of the yellow so soildly. Eh...digicams are weird like that. Great job on the mods so far (and like most people...I'm just not a fan of that bumper! ), PhrisCo...keep em comin'. And yeah...go make sure that paint is exact...you gotta represent Mazda and take home some prizes!
