Hello, i was wondering how old you had to be to have a PayPal account. I'm 17 years old. And if i can, do i need a credit card? I tried to sign up, but i wasnt sure if i needed a credit card. SO HELP!

You can use a checking account or check card. I signed up when I was 17 but I dont know if I lied about my age or not.

i signed up the other day using my checking account...

you get a checking account invloved if you want to become a verified member. .. . being verfied makes you a more turstworthy member or somethign since they have all your contact info and whatnot so it's harder for you to dick people over.

to sign up though all you need is a credit card (i used my check card since it had a visa logo on it) when i was 17
