What parts are out on the market and where can i find the, got my MSP 3 days ago and i am wondering whats out there

Not much yet. Only ones I know is Injen is working on an Intake, and K&N has an air filter that fits the stock intake/airbox. Then you have universal parts such as IC, TT, Boost controllers...

actually since the engines are the same you can buy stuff that will fit on the mazda 2.0 liter engine. Such as the j-spec intake manifold and cams, not sure how well the cams will work on a turbo application, and you have pulleys made by unorthodox and sr motorsports. You might want to check though to see if those will work with the engine, just because of the turbo and all, i don't see why they wouldn't work, but just for safety sake i would check. And then there are also short throw shifters out there made by kartboy and B&M, i have the b&m on my mp3 i love it but i feel that it sits to high, so i might invest in a kartboy in the future, also check out spoolin's website for turbo stuff, some of that stuff might fit....hope this helps

"Spool" apparently, is also working on an Intake for around $100. This; I am waiting to see. I think May is the tentative release date, but I'm not sure.

try using the search button. there's about 18 different threads with new people asking whats out there and what can they buy right away.

It slows down the speed of your pumps thus freeing up ponys. It may prolong the life of your pumps but slightly harm the engine while doing it.

Where did you get that from??? Allc ars have underdrive pulleys in them. What you buy is a lighter pulley, unortho's is about 4 pounds lighter, and it requires less power from the engine to turn. It will free up about 5 - 8 horses

"Light weight crank pulley for accessory belts which both reduces weight and accessory speed, reducing drag and rotating mass to free up more power to be applied to the wheels. Reduces pulley diameter by ~25%, reduces pulley weight by ~75-83%"

We are both right, I just didn't mention the reduction in weight. All cars come with drive pulleys...its an underdrive pulley when it spins your pumps slower.

Like I said before, you free up ponys but don't circulate as much oil/coolant/etc through your engine.

I'm sure there are pulleys that do not slow down your pumps, and if there are, they shouldn't be called underdrive pulleys.
