I'm fairly new to all of this. My p5 is all stock, I'm looking into getting some wheels,
Konig Deception
17X7.5 5-114.3 45BCM
Would this work with 205/40-17 tires. I plan to lower my car soon, and I can roll fenders if I need to. All help is appreciated!! Thanks!

Hank3 shared this on my thread. This tool is awesome. Here's what I did... I have stock wheels and tires on my P5, or at least I think they're stock (195/50R16, wheels are 16 x 6 with a +50mm offset). So, I measured to see how much clearance I have on the inside of my tire and top of the tire and outside of the tire. When you use this tool, enter the stock dimensions in the left side and whatever the new dimensions are in the right side. It will then tell you the difference between the two setups. It's a great tool.

By the looks of it, you should be fine, but I've read that your wheels are more prone to being damaged with 40 series tires (if you hit potholes). I'm going to go with 45 series tires myself. Either 215/45 or 205/45. Anyway, I'm still new to a lot of this too. Hope this helps. The Konig Deception rims are sweet.

That's a great calculator! Thanks a bunch!! I thin I might go with 205/40 I am pretty good with knowing the road I drive. And I plan to lower it soon. Thanks for the input!!

You might want to go with a 215-45-17 to get a litle more sidewall. The ride will be smoother and you get a little "protection" for your wheels.
