why do you need a roof scoop? roof scoops only came about because race car drivers need ventilation and many race cars dont have fans/ac and the windows dont roll down

I actually like it, as long as it's functional. I prefer open windows over A/C if it's not crazy hot outside.

But with the windows partially open the wind noise is horrible. I think a roof scoop that you could open and close would be great for me, less wind noise than windows I would think (it wouldn't be quiet or anything, but nothing that the stereo can't overcome )

Go for it! Who cares what anyone else says...if you want to do it, then do it. Just do us a favor...get it painted....unmatched roof scoop = (rice)

i saw a ricer with a P5 and a roof scoop and it looked like crap. This event has totally changed my outlook on roof scoops!
A full Sliding rag top would be way better!!!!

It's only 2 1/2 months old...not old at all. Now when someone brings back a thread from two years ago, it's a different story.

Just because something looks like crap on one car doesn't automatically make it crap on everthing. I've seen ricers with spoilers on their Proteges that looked like crap. Yet my spoiler does not. I've seen ricers with decals that look like crap. I've seen cars with decals that look awesome.

A small, functional, color-mached and painted roof scoop looks good if it is installed correctly.

I bought a eclipse roof scoop. like the "fast and furious 1"and z3 fenders for 40 bucks once. My dad was to lazy to mold them on the car at that time. Im glad he was. I was going to put the roof scoop on my hood, but i was glad i didnt. I ended up selling the parts for 100 bucks.

ha ha ha !! no, some punk ass kid who has no freakin life at all must like to key my car since it is nicer than his. it was keyed 3 times, so everytime after someone keyed it i painted it, and a couple of times i painted it just because. it doesnt really cost that much. a little bondo for the deep scares and the costs for the paint. i do all the painting myself. takes a little time but it is worth it everytime. as far as where my money comes from, helps when people pay you lots of money to work on their cars(thumb).
i am VP of Noxide Designs, thats me and a buddies little project we have had going on for about 4 years now.

LOL...you defenately are not from my side of town!(lol) little wanna be thugs like to fuk up whatever isn't theirs. the thing was i wasnt even anywhere where someone would know me or anything when the car was keyed. i think the first time it happened i was at school but after that it started happenin at the mall and Chilli's and places like that. as for you not having any desire to key nicer cars. Good for you. want a cookie.
