Opinions...?

Good choice to keep. WIth that M3 you would throw reliability out the door.

If you want a fast RWD car just swap a 240sx. Thats what im going to be doing this year. SElling my speed and going to rb25 (skyline baby!) a 240sx.

I dont want a Japanese car. I love my MS3, but when it comes time to replace her several years out, I will be going German. Its not about the speed...that M3 is a real driver's car. Front engine, rear wheel drive, and it was made without all the fancy electronics. That car is a true sports car in every sense of the way. I will be keeping my MS3 for probably close to 100k miles, but I will be getting either a BMW or Audi to replace her

Man thats tough one BigDaddy O.......I mean the bmw is candysex all the way..very nice car..I love most euro cars.....its gonna be light and fast..not quite the speed as the ms3..but you know that..you want that rwd sporty german car feel...but all in all if this is gonna be your daily driver and fun car... Id prabaly stick with the ms3..and have the bmw as my second car..that would be awesome...thats prabaly the only route I would personaly go cause while that m3 is prabaly a great car..only YOU know how your ms3 has been treated..cant really say the same for the bimmer..still nice car...good taste man :)

A friend of mine is selling an E30 M3 with just 53k miles on it. I was leaning toward an E39 M5 or an E46 M3, but now I'm not so sure...

Kind of depends on your financial situation. Remember that this is an older car, so chances are more things will start to break sooner than with a two year old car. Also, it's a BMW, so parts/labor will be more expensive.

The car itself looks very nice. It does seem to be a bit overpriced for me, but I haven't priced these out in a long time, so I'm not sure what the market value is.

Still haven't shown where they lost 600 lbs with the 2200 lb statement.

just look at it. You can tell there is lots of weight that has been removed. Maybe not 600 lbs. (I really cant tell), but its got racing seats, and the rears are removed. My guess is, that there are lots of additional things that have been done. The car isnt exactly stock

there's nothing more classier than an e36 m3! My first time in a race car I got to sit in for a couple of laps with one of the best BMW instructors back home in his E30. That was just plain and simply amazing.

But I wouldnt drive it everyday though. Like someone else on this thread said, maitenance is expensive, realibitly MIGHT be an issue, and you dont want to be stuck with no wheels for days and.

It would be a different story if you wanted it as a SECOND car though.

Dont listen to all the "OH YOU GOING FOR LESS POWWAHHH" haters here. an E30 m3 is STILL one of the purest driver's car out there.
