there's nothing more classier than an e36 m3! My first time in a race car I got to sit in for a couple of laps with one of the best BMW instructors back home in his E30. That was just plain and simply amazing.
But I wouldnt drive it everyday though. Like someone else on this thread said, maitenance is expensive, realibitly MIGHT be an issue, and you dont want to be stuck with no wheels for days and.
It would be a different story if you wanted it as a SECOND car though.
Dont listen to all the "OH YOU GOING FOR LESS POWWAHHH" haters here. an E30 m3 is STILL one of the purest driver's car out there.
