now the idle rpm are higher than before..~900 as opposed to 750. Everything was reset on the installed entertainment system so I am assuming the battery was disconnected (maybe that has to be done I don't know)
Also coming to a parking lot and slowing down to a crawl the rpms dropped almost to a stall. This has happened twice.
I just picked the car up so I don't know if some weird things happen right after an alternator/belt replacement. Is it just the computer re-learning stuff?
I coulnd't talk with the guy that did the work but they said they always check voltage, etc and wouldn't give it back if it wasn't correct.
On the plus side, the noise is gone!
Any thoughts on the stuff above? Should I give it a few days?
Thanks,
Dave
