Oil Pressure ?'s

Hello fellow mazdanites!!!!

help me out here. what is you oil pressure reading out as.....

when idling?

when cruising, (say highway speeds or so)

and when WOT? as per your gauge or DH.

all help and info is greatly appreciated, thanks!!!!
 
i almost max out my oil pressure gauge at WOT.. ill get u some exact numbers tomorrow on my way to school..

now all i need is what pressure is at idle/ full warm.

today goin to work sittin at a drive thru after driving for twenty minutes the gauge started flashing and pressure was at 5 psi. this was a first though it usually only sits at 6-10 psi during idle/full warm. not sure it this is right.

everything is hooked up right and nothings leaking, not losin oil, car runs fine, etc.....

also while i'm here, my o.press gauge is the last to light up. even though i have the power goin to boost, then pressure, then temp, the boost and temp always light up first then the pressure gauge. what gives?

oh, these are prosport premium btw!
 
I don't believe the DH can read oil press. on our cars. Correct me if I'm wrong though. I'd love to be able to watch it.
 
Pressure at idle is supposed to be that low since there is no load you're fine with little oil pressure.

Just stay above the 10psi per 1000rpm and you'll be fine.

i have the prosport gauges as well..mine all light up at the same time.weird.. how much time between the boost and temp before the pressure gauge lights up..??

ah, i was unaware. but now that i think about it. i think i read that somewhere too.

any ideas on why the oil pressure is the last gauge to start. i rather them all be in sync if possible.
 
You're just lucky. I'd email them and see if they can switch it out for another one. It's probably just a slightly out of spec electrical component in the guts.
 
its funny you say that cuz i already shipped the first one back cuz it didnt work at all.

i'm ol call em tommorow.
