Oil on spark plugs?

Mazda3 2.0g 2021, 70000km, I replaced the spark plugs and found traces of oil on one spark plug thread. Should I worry?

Look around the spark plug area for signs of an oil leak (valve cover gasket?). Perhaps there was a spill when the oil was changed? The spark plugs look normal to me. Unless the car isn't running right or there's a check engine light, I wouldn't worry. It's great that you're doing your own maintenance!

there are no traces of oil around the gasket, I didn't even notice immediately that there was oil on the threads of the spark plugs, only after putting in new ones. the car runs normally and does not turn on the check engine light. I do everything I can by myself and I enjoy it.

It's possible that enough oil is swept into the intake by the PCV system that allows it to accumulate in the plug threads over a long period of time. I'd not worry.

those spark plugs look like they can easily cover twice that. why so soon?

my opinion is that 70,000 km is the right time to change the spark plugs. the factory says for engine oil 20,000km, I work at 10,000km

Ok. The owners manual states 120,000KM for my 2.5L engine. I think that is a reasonable interval based on what the spark plugs looked like when I pulled them out.

I have not seen Mazda "recommend" 20k km oil intervals in the manual. If they do, common sense can tell us to safely disregard and change your oil sooner.
