official pats thread

I don't recall a singal penalty in favor of the Pats today. Oh wait, there was one ruffing the passer...but the pats defense was called on three of those (and all three were BS).

Bad game in every way. I don't know what was going on.

that was one of the few plays i saw when...was it wilfork?..fell over and his head hit harringtons leg while he was rolling on the ground....roughing the passer...ummmmmmmmmmm

i dont know that the penalties were why we lost though, osunded like we just played bad

The Bears get at least 2 roughing the passer penalties per game for the stupidest s***. I mean sometimes unbelievable calls that result in points for the other team or keeping drives alive. I think that penalty is getting abused by the qb and refs.

you got that right! we played sooooooooo bad....it was the worse game in many years! brady, the offensive line (was offensive!) the d was horrible....i tell you, you thought brady was playing for the fish...OMG it was pitiful!

Can't comment on any of the action as I didn't see the game nor have I seen highlights. I do agree though that trying to 'save' the qb has gotten out of control. There has been a lot of talk about it the last few weeks in pre-game shows so let's see if some changes will be made.

Sanblaster you may be right. The win over the Bears did something for the fish...too bad it was so damn late in the season. After watching the Colts run 'd' yesterday I look for Ronnie Brown to get a good 35 carries or so against them....maybe they can win out the rest of the games and salvage something for next year....(although those were my hopes from last year). :(

Yeah 9-7 last year I believe, this miami team should be at minimum an 11 win team. I think there offense is keeping them down from being a serious contender in the AFC.

^^^9-7 is correct....and their offense has moments. If they had any kind of consistency they would be an 11 win team (should have been this year)!

I just realized that for a moment I have threadjacked the Pat thread into a Phin thread....lol....can I get a mod to change the title? (peep)

j/k guys! :)

I don't think the nepoc'ers mind but there is an all NFL thread in the off topic section. Our Bears thread isn't all Bears as well.

I don't think they will mind either....just throwing out some AFC East humor.

you can talk about any teams in here you want except for the colts and the broncos unless you are talking about how bad they are and/or how much I hate them :)

They didn't play last night.

I meant sunday night. Sorry.

Boy I don't know how your Bears are gunna handle these next three games agains grueling opponents. I guess it will be the playoffs before you guys are tested again.

Then again we lost to the lions so I guess I can't talk.

Any team that loses to the Lions doesn't deserve to make the playoffs. Sorry Donas. And I can tell you your dirty birds wouldn't have have faired better against the Dolphins as well on Sunday. That team is liked possesed or something.

You know I love you Sanblaster, but you done gone and dissed by dirty birds.

Heres to "one and done" in the playoffs for the Chicago Bears (first)

If the Falcons don't get in as a Wildcard, I guess I'll have to root for the Chargers cuz Aint's fans will be insufferable if that team wins the Superbowl.

GO FALCONS!

GO BEARS!

Aww, thanks Donas. Those were very nice words.
