Not another SRT-4 thread!!!

I test drove the 05 (thought they stopped making them) srt-4 today, and I must say I don't like it. Very uncomfortable (I am a big guy though 5-11, 200lbs). The power was ok, not as fast as my msp though. Overall the whole experience from the car down to the sales guy left a bad taste in my mouth. The idiots said my car was only worth $9,000!! lol

Oh well, thought I'd share my experience.

Before anyone gets they're knickers in a twist, this is just my own opinion. I'm sure a modded srt would spank my msp.

lol, I embarrassed a guy in an SRT4 today.
It was the typical sitting at the red light scenario. He was already sitting at the red in his NorCal sticker-clad Neon, when I rolled up. He looked over at the Miata, smirked, stabbed his throttle, and turned up his ghetto-beat.
When the light turned green, I dropped the clutch, took off like a slingshot, and instantly had about 2 car lengths on him.
By the time he flew by me, I was slowing down for my turn. He yelled some s*** st me, gave me the finger and kepy driving, Pwn3d.
I'm not claiming my Miata's quicker than a SRT4, but I got the jump, and my RWD paid off. Poor rich kid, he shoulda made his mommy buy him an EVO.

^^^I threw an ice cream cone at a car of s***-***** in a ricey neon that called me a "***" after I smoked them. They went for the ricer fly-by and I instictivly threw the chocolate/vanilla soft serve treat as soon as I distictly heard the word "***". It hit their windshield and A-pillar, partially entering the inside, while half spread over the windshield....watching those wipers smear it around while they slowed down was....awesome....and satisfying. Plus, I am a bad mother ****** for shifting so well while holding a cone. Oh yeah, and **** an SRT-4.

I belive its faster.... a TRUE STOCK srt-4 is right at the threshold of 14.00 seconds

anything faster is modded, even if it is only tires... remember he test drove one at the dealer, and assuming its not mopar stage upgraded then his butt dyno could be quite correct.

besides, 13's in a msp is pretty common now

Was stressed today, but it's all gone now. Thanks Commie! Funniest thing ever. I was picturing Sisqo singing that next to an SRT-4...

imo, MSP is a time bomb waiting to explode. We'll see how many people hit 100k miles boosting 10+ psi without any major engine problems.

close.... in my BONE stock srt4 i ran 13.7 @ 103!!!(rockon) no mods what so ever....
i even had the factory oil still in...lol

btw, it seems as though the harder you beat on this car the faster it is... no B.S
the more miles i put on it the faster it seems to be...

oh, I agree as well.... on stock internals... sure... but if you build the engine right, like I am, then I would expect it to be just as strong as a stock SRT motor. time will tell however

true, with only ebc (17 psi fadding to 14) & intake i put down 250whp & 265wtq.
it's REALLY wierd ive seen some modded srt4's run high 14's...(worse than stock) hahah
then ive seen some friends with fairly stock ones running 12's (must be factory freak!!!)
