Noob with a change of heart

hey folks, ive been creepin theses pages for quite some time now (kinda stalker ish)

i just wanted to say hi... so... hi!

the reason why im saying that i have a changing heart is because i bought a 2001 Protege LX 2.0 just a few months ago and its great!

I simply HATE the styling of it and then i realized the beauty of the P5

so for some time now i've been looking for a P5 and NOTHING!
nobody wants to get rid or thiers!
i had one couple ABOUT to sell but and the last second said no.(burn)

so really if your somewhere near LA and are willing to let your baby go, pm me... i have soo many plans to mod!

they do have the same engine.


and i have been searching on CL for MONTHS at least 5 times a day and i know for a fact that they should never be for sale for more that 7k
and the black one from Whittier is there just for the dealer can get calls (meaning its fake)

does anyone here want to get rid of there P5 to a fellow enthusiast?

I have a tired P5 daily driver I'm putting up for sale. It has issues, but would make a great project car. I'm from the Chicago area, however and transport would probably too costly. Anyone from the Chicago area interested can contact me and get particulars. Yellow 2002 P5 130k mi. newer clutch and brakes, HID kit, stock rims in poor shape, extra snows on steelies, rust around rear wheel wells, cracks in front and rear lips. Check engine just came on, with code for lean mix. Exhaust has small leak which is probable cause. Right half shaft noisy, probably CV joint going. This car is 1 owner and regularly serviced, starts and runs, but is in need of major investment of parts that I'm not willing to do. Make me an offer, It'll be on CL as soon as I find something else.

UPDATE:
I finally got my P5 yesterday!
taught myself how to drive stick on the way home too!

it does have some damage on the rear end from small parking lots (no biggy)
but i do plan on making it more presentable with the smallest budget known to man!
