At a November 1 roundtable interview with foreign reporters at the White House, President George W. Bush dazzled the crowd by saying (among other things), "Brazil is a big, big, important country in this world"

and the man continues to amaze me...

He went on to say "I'm going to Panama because I want to see the Canal.... I want to see the Canal firsthand, which I've never seen."

(You know, I could probably get him into my daughters pre-school class)

Ya know, I don't like Bush as much as the next guy...but these threads you make over non-important items are becoming quite tiresome.

It made me giggle. That's an effect.

Thank you Pretzellogic. It made me giggle as well. Bush makes me laugh because he is a bummbling fool. He is the leader of the "free" world and he can hardly form a sentence. What a shame.
But, on the bright side, it just goes to show you, the average guy, with tons of money and an influential family and friends, can be President too. (thumb)

Actually, he was educated, but all the drinking and coke abuse has left him with very little bouncing around in that skull of his.....

Education: Attended Phillips Academy prep school at Andover, then Yale from 1964 until 1968 and graduated with a major in history; played baseball during freshman year and rugby during junior and senior years; became a member of the super-secret Skull and Bones society, following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather; later attended Harvard and earned a Masters of Business Administration in 1975. Bush was such a mediocre student that the dean of students at Andover was pessimistic about his chances of getting into Yale. The suggested that he have a backup option. Harvard Business school was a backup option that he had to take advantage of after the University of Texas law school turned him down. Harvard alums say the admissions process was somewhat mysterious. They forgot to mention he was a cheerleader!

Almost as bad as " I actually did vote for the $87 billion, right before I voted against it " (hah)

Uh..Kerry isn't the President. Why bring him up? Because Bush is the LESSER of two evils??? Shame Shame.

I'm not sure that anyone with a speck of reasonability would pick Bush over Kerry as a public speaker. if you want to bring up stupid s*** that politicians have said; Kerry's mis-steps are but a rain drop in the "Bushism" ocean of stupidity/bad public speaking...

Who the **** cares?

Yes, we know that President Bush isn't the greatest public speaker, but if you are shallow enough to use that fact as the basis of all your attacks against his presidency, your opinions should not be valid as you are an idiot.

Attacking his policy using valid points would make for a good thread. This thread just reaffirms what most think of you on this board. Please, I am quite sure that you are smarter than this.
