Yea parking in this city is crazy....everyone drives a beater so they can say that the scrap was already there when they hit you.
It's not major damage....but any damage to me is major. It has gray scuff marks under the Mazda emblem that are kind of noticeable and the plastic spacer pieces in between the 'smiles' of the front bumper have the accordion effect on them. It feels a bit wobbly to the touch. I'm sure the scuff marks can be buffed out and the plastic spacers are hidden enough to not notice....it just sucks knowing its like that. I'll get pics up when I get home. I have an idea who did it and I took pictures of there rear bumper, but they drive a beater and they said it was already there in a very defensive tone.
Anyway, mod update, my CS SRI, TIP, and TS DP BOV should be here Thursday. I might do the install with Goggles (he gets his SRI thurday too) on Friday and save the Meet time to tend to other cars
Maybe you guys could help me with some of the damages (might get it buffed out at my cousins job)...cause I know that lesbo upstairs won't admit to it. :mad:/RX-8Chick

I want to know how the adjustments go. Where do you think you'll start? 50/50? Full recirc? I'm looking to pick one up and I don't think any of the NEPOC MS3 or MS6 owners have one... I want to check it out.

I'm going to start off full recirc for a few days and i wanna see how loud it is that way. If its not what I want I'll go 50/50. I'll have it on at the clean meet so you can check it out in person.

Yea I heard about that. But a lot of conflicting answers about this issue tells me I need to try it out for myself. I'll try both and if I notice it runs bad on 50/50 I'll just run it full recirc....that's the joy of hybrid valves.

Thought the TS was adjustable so you can run enough recirc to let the car run good and vent the rest?

Those were my thoughts too...
Most that run it that way either deal with the backfires or just don't really care.
It still doesn't recirc enough to make the mixture correct. The air has been accounted for and if you release it (even part of it), it will be rich between shifts.
Best thing to do is to get a dashhawk and keep an eye on your fuel trims.

I read something about mapping to get rid of the problem with VTA... is that possible with the AP now?
