New MSP2 owner

I just took delivery of a 2003.5 Dark Titanium MSP. Previously I had a 2000 Plymouth Neon that I ran a best of 15.4 in the 1/4. Picked the car up from Classic Mazda for $16,700 after rebate. The info I got from trolling silently here for the last week or so really helped me to get the price down. Just wanted to say thanks for the help and the info and I look forward to talking to / meeting some of the other Central Florida folks here.

Congratulations! I hope you enjoy the car. Stick around a while and join in the fun!

CAI, Header, 2.5" dynomax exhaust and muffler, Solid Motor Mounts, Mopar Performance Xtra High rate Springs, Ported and Polished head, Minor Weight reduction on street tires. Base model Plymouth Neon. The track was rented out for the day by the Florida Neon club so prep was perfect it was also early in the year so temperatures were still pretty low.

Wow, if the knowledge of the defects helped get you down, I wonder how it would have helped me. In NC they were asking $21000 for the 2003.5 and after a couple days of working on em I got it for $15,500 out the door and I gave them the title to my 1993 suzkuki sidekick with 122600 miles on it (blue book value: $300) I bet I coulda had it for $14500 if I played the 'defect card' I just wish I was a junior in college, I coulda had another $500 off =/ oh well, congrats on the new car, I really like the titanium but there are none left in the raleigh area, so I got silver
