Dude, We gotta get a video on here!! I've had at least a dozen people come up to me and ask me where I got my exhaust I'm tellin ya, I haven't to this day heard an axle-back exhaust system sound quite as good as ours! I'm not just saying that to sell more because of all the cars I've owned and all of the axle-back systems I've purchased for them, this one is not only the cheapest but sounds the best!!

Anyone car to explain to me how a 2.25" straight pipe, will spool faster or make power than a 2.25" straight through muffler like the car allready has? If you want your car louder I can see it, more power? Unlikely.

Are we ever going to get sound clips or video, cause I want one, I just don't want it to sound like ass. I've heard a lot of promises for sound and video but I think it's all just one giant tease isn't it.

I don't know about more power,,,,,,,but the sound is ANTI-RICE, and I love it. All of the V8 (1/4 mile) guys at work, think it sounds great.

Hey Joe! I believe it's mandrell, but Corey can shed more light on that. He already has orders for 3 or 4.

I will tell you what the sound reminds me of. A friend of mine has an S1 Superformance Roadster with a 13B rotary (not sure what exhaust). I drove it last year, and loved the sound. This is similar.

I was a tough sell, believe me. Ha! I heard Corey's MAZDASPEED last Saturday for the first time with the new exhaust, and that was it! 'Had mine installed on Monday. Fantastic!!!


.....and again; the beauty is; you can re-install the original in just a few minutes. Although; I doubt I ever will.

I can't believe some of the stuff you guys buy into on these boards. Replacing the muffler really helped the turbo spool up faster? Uh huh. I'd love to see the times on this. Turbo spool is really only restricted by the size of the cast outlet, downpipe, and flow rate (or lack of) the catalytic convertors. I'm sure it sounds good. There's no doubt in my mind it sounds better, but I think you guys are falling for the "mental horsepower". We (msp owners) already have a very free-flowing sporty exhaust. If you're interested in an exhaust upgrade that ACTUALLY affects performance PM me or email to SVTMATTY@BELLSOUTH.NET. Oh, and I do believe you that it weighs less, but that in no way affects the turbo spool rate!! hahaha, you guys are so funny.

Who said anything about faster spooling, or more hp. I just like the sound of the HSM Axle-Back Exhaust. Plus; I'm boosting more,,,there's the HP I'm speakin' of. Together; it's beautiful music!

"who said anything about spooling'?? re-read page 1 of this thread. About 3 or 4 posts into it. The guy who started the thread weaved the tale of how this really helped the turbo come alive!! Also, more boost is a good thing, but the factory muffler section is just fine for ANYTHING you can throw at it.
