new member here

[Black Majik MSP]

Hey everyone,

I just found out 2 days ago that I'm getting a new car for my 22nd. My 1st car was a '95 626 & right now I have my parents '95 Corolla. I was really interested in the MSP when they first announced they were making it & I'm stll shocked that now I am actually gonna get one.

Anyway, I still have to decide what year & color. I knew all about the 03s when they first announced them, but that was quite some time ago. I talked to Dr. Sound & he explained the differences to me. I was thinking of a black 03, but now I think I might get a Titanium 03.5

If anyone has any pics that show the differences between the interiors, I'd love to see them. Can't wait to get my new car

My first choice would've been the Spicy Orange. Some people have gotten negative attention from it, though - it depends if you live in an area where that could be a problem.

My second choice would be the Titanium, it looks veeery good. I prefer that one to the yellow, the with the mica effect it doesn't look as good. IMO

I would get the titanium or blue as first choice, to save some cash the Black would be another course.

welcome...orange is nice, though if u dont like the "attention", grab a titanium! (black is way too much work)

titanium or hold out for the darker grey - but I'm liking the stealth approach.

Don't let the black scare you off, the mica in it makes it a bit easier to care for than plain ol' black cars - it looks cleaner longer.

Interiors are identical save for minor detail changes. The 03.5 has yellow stitching rather than orange, and Mazdaspeed pedals/knob instead of the Sparco units, but except for the lettering they're about identical.

Welcome! And remember what this car can do, don't fall prey to the invincibility of youth or this one'll bite ya. I suppose that's a good thing... in a way... or we'd have legislation requiring everyone under a certain age to drive 2-series Volvos...
