New CX-7 Owner

Hello All..... as you can see from my sign up date I have been here a couple of years (not too many posts though).... I have had a Protege5 and a Mazda 3s.... though now I drive a Crew-cab GMC.... but we just went out today and got my wife a 2007 CX-7 White Grand Touring with tan leather (GT style), Techpackage and all.... only options we don't have is the All-Wheel Drive (we live is S. Cal) and Sat. Radio, though we are paying cost at the dealership to have it added. We got out the door paying only $700 over invoice, we were the only people on the lot (plus it was Sunday afternoon)..... So, anyways I will post some pics soon..... wanted to drop a line and say hello......... PLUS THIS CAR IS SICK!!!! AND HAULS @$$....... (nana)

Welcome shaggin waggin! A Mazda fan huh!? Me too. I use to have a red Protege 5 wagon(great car) and now have an RX 8....the beauty of the car hit me hard so I had to have it!! I am trying to sell my car...it's been almost 3 years now and I need more cargo and passenger space...selling has been tough though but I am hoping to get a CX 7 soon....drove it 3 times already....love it! The CX 7 has great styling, nice interior and handles like a sports car.....(I love and hate to say it but it's better than my automatic RX 8...speed wise that is). Great choice and I am sure you will both enjoy it for a long time!!

congrats, man. My wife and I got our Mazdas 4 years ago in October. I got the p5, she got a B3000. Just a month and a half ago, we said goodbye to the B3000, and hello to the CX-7. Love it so much, I am about to part my p5 to get into the turbo scene with an MS3.

No mods to the Cx-7...yet.

I love that the sand interior comes with black carpet. That solves my biggest gripe about light interiors--dirty carpets!

Thanks everyone for the compliments..... I always said I would NEVER own a white car.... but I drive a 2006 White GMC Crew Cab and now my wife drives a 2007 White CX7.... and I love how they look.... especially the Mazda with the pearl white.... it looks good in the sun.....

Gorgeous! congratz on the new ride, white is the BEST colour IMO. and yes it hauls @$$, I drove it once and was hesitant to take it up to redline. It'll have good aftermarket support too, 1st thing should be a cold air intake from CP-E and that alone should add good numbers to it.
