My mom just recieved her 2005 Mazda 3 GT cloth with GFX package, no spoiler, in Sand Mica AT...I got to drive it....OMFG, it's such a nice car. I love it. It's so smooth and quit, yet it has the pep there on tap when you want it. Cruised so quit, giver a little and you hear her giving it some juice...I was driving very conservatively as it is still just a virgin. She's beyond happy with the car, it so ******* amazing. I can see why people like these cars so much(I've never been in a MZ3 yet)...I'm glad shes so happy, as with her last vehicle(A Chevy Venture minivan..boooooo) she ******* despised it, but with this one, she said she may keep it after it's payed off(usually, a year after it's paid for, she trades)..so thats good to hear. Of course, it is still only a few hours old, so we'll see if this holds true..though I get a feeling it will. SUCH A NICE CAR!!!!! I will post pics, once I take pics, as by the time she got it home, it was way too dark for pics(plus I don't have a digi)..so yeah. So secksy though.

well, I just took 16 pictures of the car in daylight, and when it gets darker, I'm gonna take some night shots. Hopefully I can have pics up before tomorow night..latest being like monday

teaser pics...they are good quality..just really bad scaner, better ones comes tomorow

like I said, these copies suck due to scanner. Tomorow afternoon, I'll get really good scans of them, and post. 25 pictures:D...mwuahahahahaha. That'll make this a 56k no no thread.

Lotsa pics guys, in varied order

I like the interior of the car, very nice IMHO. My mom however is not a fan of the red on the seats, but she is in love with the guages..I must say I enjoy them aswell. It's a pretty ******* nice car, and my mom is in heaven right now with that car, she loves it like nothing else. She'd prolly sell me to get another if something happened to that one...lol. Oh, and at the end, is a cool lighting pic with my cat, and a closeup of my dog...Max is the dog, Simba is the cat...I named the cat when I was young...but I still love Lion King(yes, I do)

some of the pics suck, due to bad camera, bad scanner, and me being as shakey as a leaf...lol. I need a digy so bad...but instead, I'm getting a really nice 35mm camera, with changable lenses and filters, and all that cool stuff...so maybe I need a tripod, and a newe scanner...hehehehe.

i guess the only pics that get comments on this board are nekked chicks an MSP's....oh well, not my car, the speed is...and she's purty. New pics of her will be on here soon also.

we don't reply to threads about automatics (lol2)

j/k, looks very nice, classy looking sedan, better lines than the hatch, in my eyes

I drove a 2.3 auto 3 sedan, and yea it was smooth, but I didn't have much fun behind the wheel. A bit too soft for my tastes. A manual might help to win me over though.

For those in the US, the Sand with GFX is one of only a couple of color/spec combos available in Canada but unavailable in the US. Even in Canada, this color combo is VERY rare, though ironically the first Mazda3 I drove was this color/spec combo.

mazdaspeedpower, very nice pics, but I HIGHLY recommend you edit out the license plate in your pictures

What's your reasoning here? Are people on the internet somehow more threatening than people you encounter on the road, etc?

It's a preventative measure. For example, I could get mazdaspeedpower's mother's first & lastname and home address quite easily, especially as I also live in Ontario. But not posting license plate applies to everyone in all countries.

Similarly, I don't recommend posting one's VIN's as well (partial VIN's maybe ok, depending on which characters are posted). Certain things can be reported with a VIN.

Yes, the likelihood of something happening is small and is no different than looking at other plates on the street, but why take the risk? As such, notice that I decided to post a recommendation instead of using my moderator privilages to edit mazdaspeedpower's post (well, remove all the pics that show the plate). If a member is really adament about posting their plates or VIN then they can do so, but being the moderator I'm just giving my recommendations.

lol, yeah, I hate AT, but my mom is lazier than I am, and she commutes daily, through heavy rushour traffic, for her, it's too much work for a fun drive....the manual mode is ok, but still kinda, not a good feel for me. I would say MT would make this car miles bettter. And I have seen this colour combo before, there is one a couple blocks from my house, same everything, cept he upgraded his rims to a nice 9spoke gunmetal polished lip on ultra lows(same size as stock rims, so it looks goofy, but nice still. And about the plates, I dont really car that much, I mean, what are they gonna do, come to my house and say hi??? I mean, if they want to steal a car that bad that they search the internet for plate numbers and vin numbers, then they have worked hard enough, they can take the car, and we will get another on insurance...lol. We don't keep anything in our cars, as a family, as it's stupid, we burn CD's(from internet and CD's we own) so they get 50cents of change, 5 dollars worth of used blank cd's and a stock car....sweet deal...lol. Worst come to worst, someone send me a post card, saying I am teh suck cause they are an e-thug...lol

thanks for the recommendation though, but I feel safe. My grandparents are kinda paranoid about everything, so i am used to this. They don't understand how I can sit in the backyard, with the front door unlocked, and not feel safe. Sure, in the night I lock the door, but during the day, who cares? Also, if I run inside to grab something I forgot, I'll leave the car unlocked, or even running for all of 2 seconds, and they think I'm ******* stupid..so yeah, paranoia sqquaad lives round here, I'm used to it, I just don't want to be afraid of everything, I live kinda carefree...so yeah, thats me. Care free..easy going, and not afraid of everything the media wants me to be afraid of.

well..I know it's faster than a p5 with an intake and exhaust..as I was driving behind my mom, and my buddy pulled up next to her in his 2003 p5, and reved on her...she proceeded to stomp it from the light an pwn him...lol. it was kinda funny. She knows who he is and everything so it was cool..she then opened the moonroof and flipped the bird..lol, he then flashed her. We have too much fun driving in this family I tell ya. The mazda extended family that is. Wow the Mazda3section is slow..I'm used to the MSP section where you cant type a single letter, and get 1000 responses in seconds...hehehehehe, post ******!!!:D

Wow, I've never seen anyone post ***** in there own thread as much as you j/k. Congrats on the car, your mom will probably not keep it after all, it's just a car dood. There will be more nicer stuff on the market, and in our society in North America we are so sucked into cars and performance and looks. And we always want the best and newest things on the market. I went from a Mazda 3 GT to a MAzda 6 GT V6 in less than a year. And in 3 more, I will probably be cruising around in a Mazda speed 6

Yeah, I am a post *****..lol. But i mean, my mom said she'd like to keep it as a winter 'beater' and get a new car, is what she's said to me last night. She really loves this car, and sh'e not as caught up in cars as most, to her, it's just a car, just for a change, it's a nice car for her...she had mentioned something about the MS6, or wutever the MS model is when this car is paid off being her new one, as both my parents are now in well paying jobs, that will allow them to spend a bit more money here and there. Which is cool for them. My mom really does love this car, the other day my dad asked if he could drive it, and she asked for collateral...lol. I thought that was classic 'I love my new car' attitude
