New Brakes On The Way!

yup. i just ordered some new brake pads from KVR, rotors from Brembo, and SS lines from Technafit. Got the rotors nad lines from a group buy, and the pads from KVR direct.

while i wait for them to come, any thoughts on installation and break-in procedures?

i will probably post some pics of my swap over / install, although they parts won't look much different from stock. (i ordered solid rotors, not drilled or slotted)

Yeah, I got them in last weekend, but I had to have my dealer bleed the lines since I couldn't get good enough pressure in my drive way. The hardest part was getting the SS lines in. I had a bear of a time getting them lined un in the brackets.

Total cost from the group buy on the rotors and lines was $300 for all four corners shipped. I then ordered the KVR pads direct from KVR for $120 or so shipped.

The pads grab better than the stock ones did, and the SS lines REALLY firm up the pedal. I now have much better control over the force I send to my brakes.
