...but I just dragged home an Ocean Blue 1985 Mazda RX-7 GSL with the 12A/automatic. The motor isn't running but the body has very little rust, I was blown away by the shape of the body and interior. I'm not 100% sure of my plans yet, other than changing it over to a 5-speed. I'm leaning towards a Weber-carbed 12A.

i've got the engine and trans if you are still interested as well as the racing beat header
I'm really excited about this RX-7. I've modded my P5 as far as I'm going to , so I needed a new project. Captain KRM P5, I am very interested, but I want to see if I can get this engine running first. The 1st problem is the white stuff in my pics, it's too cold to do anything, the 2nd problem is that I couldn't make down to meet you for about a month or so. Shipping's too expensive. How much do you want for the header?

I'm not sure why it won't run. I'm going to try get it running and do a compression test as soon as it warms up a bit. It has 216,000km on it, which is about 134,000 miles. Captain KRM P5, I'll let you know about the engine and trans in a few weeks, if you still have it. AS for the header, do you have a pic? Is it the 84-85 12A 5-speed header?
