NEMOC Random BS Thread

I've got the CX9 in for its first oil change. I noticed vibration in the brakes from day 1 so I told them they needed to look into it. The technician came back and said the front rotors were blue and visibly warped to the naked eye. So yeah, they're replacing them for me, no charge and resurfacing the rears. Mazda CPO program fail. Mazda Service win! Root cause? Most likely previous owner two foot driving. It was a rental car so that doesn't surprise me. I'm just glad it isn't my bill to pay.

Just a quick update for those of you attending the corral, we are a week out and Lauri will be finalizing the schedule today! We will have a very special guest at our corral on Saturday, Staff Sgt, Liam Dwyer! Here is a from IMSA's website.

What a great inspiration and what better way to celebrate Memorial Day. I am proud to call him a friend and to honor him for his service! Next week at this time, we'll be on the road to LRP, with 10-12 cars from Ohio and Jamie Barone as well! See you all next week!

awesome marlon, i watched the race last wek and was so bummed when he went off the track! what determination he has! can't wait to meet him!!

Yup, same here. I not only have to try and keep both cars clean but also have to sweep the roof of the RV every other day from all the seed pods and stuff from the trees.

Canadiens beat the Bruins last night!!! Awesome series, a nail biter right to the end. Always enjoy watching both teams fight it out.

Off to a job interview this afternoon. Seasonal job delivering cedar around town. Close to where we are, 4 miles away, so it would help with the car costs.
good luck on the interview! whats the job? i go back to the 70's with the habs abd B's...the series was a good one for sure...i think the bruins had so many chances...price was excellent and thank you chara :(

Yes, Chara must have been pissed when he realized he scored on Rasp. What's going on with Lucic??? Holy crap, I heard he just put out a book on bullying for kids???

Got the job. Start this morning for a short trip. Working for a small lumber mill driving a F550 and delivering cedar wood for private and commercial customers. Small family run operation, they seem very nice. 30 or so hours a week, good wages compared to parts delivery and just 4 miles away so less money on gas and less wear and tear on the car.

Quiet weekend, helping my brother Sat or Sun working on his trailer, Mon is a holiday, back to working on Tues.

That's incredible.. I've been wanting to meet him. Thanks for making this happen Marlon!

Back from work. Looks like it's going to be a good job. In at 9am and done by 3pm, not exactly a short day but good for an early weekend. Start at 630 on Tuesday though.

This is one of the few times where I wished I still worked at the sub base with my MWR friend... We would have pushed so hard for the command to honor him and get submariners involved too....

As I said before, I want to shake this man's hand and have a talk with him.

mornin all..."home" stretch (pun intended) started packing, tile and wood floors going down next week...kitchen cab and bath vanity in 3 weeks.

looking forward to great wknd at LRP! i need a house break!! ;)

Almost there Mark, you and Robyn must be excited to move. Got a date for the move? June time frame?

Quiet weekend, helping my bro out with getting the trailer up and ready. Still cold at nights here, mid 60's during the day. Rained hard on Friday and we are back to having water on the lot, swampish to say the least. Can't have a fire since its's sitting in water. At least we have the deck!!

This sign is up all around the pond at one of our local parks. I'm somewhat baffled as to why they bother allowing it at all... (It's just goldfish in there from what I could tell)
