Here in eastern CT, 4 feet in most places, 5 feet in some. It feels like the storm from "The Day After Tomorrow"

This is definitely the most snow we've had in the new house, and if I didn't have a blower I'd be in some serious pain. The snow was light so it didn't seem as bad as 2003 or some of those ice/sleet storms we've had in recent years. I think closing the roads and telling people to stay home really helped the region handle the storm better than in the past. It also helps that Sandy already knocked down anything that would have fallen down in the high winds.

The wind made it tough to gauge actual snow fall but a conservative estimate would be 22" at my house. I was able to use my 24" snow blower on most of the driveway. Only place I had to knock snow down to blow it was near the garage, car, and end of the driveway where drifts formed. The snow bank at the end of the driveway was about 5' tall. The backyard was too tall for the dogs (they are weanies) so I drove the snowblower into the back yard and made a loop. Its hilarious watching them run around in circles!

Anyway, safe and sound up here. Driving down to mass to meet the parents for dinner tonight. Roads should be a breeze by then.

ANyone hit with power outages?

Spending part of the weekend reorganizing how things are stored in the rig. The pantry and the main cargo hold in the back have a lot of wasted space and it makes it hard to locate items. In the cargo hold I used clear 12 gal bins with lids which I can stack 2 high. For the pantry, removing one of the shelves and putting in stackable shelves and wire trays I can pull out.

Obviously a little bored this weekend.

Good morning everyone....still fighting this damn cold and it's starting to get real annoying. Sneezing and tickle in throat where I feel the need to cough but just end up clearing my throat constantly. Have fun with that spring cleaning Bruce. I'll be cleaning out the humidifiers in a bit and might venture out to the shed to look at the snow blower.

bought it! got 1k off!
and if you can't tell it's extra clean and like new!!! :)

Now I see the pic...very nice and really like that color. Bet you were happy you didn't have to shovel the driveway. ;)

Made out good down here in PA. Got 4-5" and like Chris said, it was nice and light which helped since my snowblower is OOS. Haven't taken a good look at it but when I turned the fuel supply on, gas started leaking out on the opposite side of the engine? I just turned it off and grabbed the shovel.
