Went out last night for some friends' birthdays. One stop (thankfully), and I dropped more than I expected to. But the entertainment was definitely worth the cost. So many funny quotes and actions... glad I stayed sober for it.
hahaAn example. My buddy Jimbo was getting beers bought for him, and they were starting to line up because he wasn't drinking them fast enough. He ordered an ice water, drank a bit of it, then put his beer bottle in it. Said "It's now a cooler..." Priceless facepalm moment.
Dealer blew me off for the phone call to discuss my displeasure with their service (chipping the hell out of my rim, etc) this morning, they're not winning me over right now. Got in late Sunday night (11PM) from Mid-Ohio weekend, was great to see Bruce and Mike again and finally meet Mahk. Still picking R-comp gumballs out of the tread on the tires from parade laps. Fried the GoPro I fear while trying to charge it before the parade laps but I have an e-mail in to their support team to see what I can do to check it, pretty sure it might have been over volted. All in all, a great trip!

sorry about the dealer issues...i don't even bother with them anymore..so i thought i gopro'd the parade lap, i shut the camera off! i've done that several times now!! stupid! ya, it was great meeting you and all the other folks i'd talked to but never saw their face...great weekend, the ride home was great till the mass pike, that road and the drivers are terrible!
Been trying to get outdoors more this summer and fall. The dog has helped. Took him on his first mountain hike out in peterborough on saturday. A relatively short but steep 1.4 mile trek up and a more gradual 1.4 back. He was gungho until the first technical section but we showed him how to jump up the rocks and after that he raced up the mountain like it was the dog track.
On sunday i purchased a mountain bike off craigslist. Its been 10 years since my last one was stolen and i never replaced it. I got a killer deal. The guy only used it a few times and he docked $200 off the current retail price. I'm psyched to check out some of the local trails once this rain passes.
Of course i've got 50lbs of grass seed to spread first...gotta keep up with the lawn!

can't wait...i'll try and schedule the fall meet soon...i'm off to NC and FL early next month, maybe the end of oct?

LOL....his son just bought it earlier this year and it's his first car. The radio was given to him along with the harness and his dad brought it to my office this morning asking for help. Going to guess they'll try to get the radio in over the weekend. I wish them luck as I did some research on Crutchfield and found the radio will stick out an 1" from the dash due to the shallow cavity on the Buick. His son didn't care, just wanted a stereo...so we'll see. I'm just glad I'm not installing it!
