Got a lot done this weekend concerning my car. Finally got my shipment of goodies in from rotaryfx.com and spent some time installing:
-LEDs for in all of my tail lights (awesomely bright except for the amber signals...those could be brighter, might pop the stocks back in)
-Red LEDs in my doors (they look 100x better than I thought they would)
-Black side markers with LEDs
-Black eye lids (Chose black over Velo Red on a whim. Came out looking great imo)

If the weather's decent tomorrow like they're saying it should be I'll hopefully get my red foot well's and tail light overlays in (overlays might be the reason I put the stock ambers back in).

I'll get pics up when I get around to it. Off to bed for now, "easy-as-hell" day at work tomorrow...getting a new cell phone too (for freeeeeeee(cabpatch))

Top of the Morning! Awesome day with the family in CT. Took the Santa train ride in Essex. Ride home last night was deadly. Rain combined with ultra thick fog. Not good! Certainly kept me awake the whole time. Was very impressed how well the Jetta handled it all. Especially at 80mph. (shhhhh)

Oleg, downloaded and added to the collection. Love your beats bro. You need a full CD and I'll make the cover/insert.

Gary, ah yes the start of the mods. rotaryfx has some decent stuff for sure.

Well... they were supposed to do this thing called Auto-Watch which the insurance company provides. I don't think they ever signed up for it because it isn't working for me. That's how I got all the pics last time.

Ride home last night was deadly. Rain combined with ultra thick fog. Not good! Certainly kept me awake the whole time.

It was absolutely ridiculous driving through New York state just south and west of Danbury, CT. Crashes EVERYWHERE...I think I saw about 3-5 overturned vehicles in a ~15 mile stretch. You couldn't go over 30 mph or you were asking for it. I myself went sideways a couple times...to me it was fun as hell (it's always fun until you crash) but I'm sure everyone behind me was freaking out (2thumbs)

@the dance music: Good stuff. I know it's not quite the same genre but I've found myself listening to Prodigy again more and more these days. Haven't been a fan of any new rock music/bands that have come out recently.

Yea, I've let the rear end on the 8 loose a few times in the rain. Luckily the DSC and my driving skills kick right in. Sure makes your heart skip a beat though. Did it once in a Boston tunnel and scared the wife out of her seat. Doh!
