NEMOC Random BS Thread

Finally got out of the house today, for the first time since the surgery! My sister came around and she drove me around in the Protege5. Windows down, music blasting. The yellow car needed a little driving, after sitting around for a week. Everything was still working! Including subs. My sister ignored my requests to wind out 2nd and 3rd gears, despite my living vicariously through her driving. I believe the throttle was never down to the floor. At least we got good gas mileage.

Ooops, unintentional half-mile of crutching at the mall! Holy arms workout, they gonna be screaming tomorrow (damn DOMS). But hey, it's the good kind of pain. The only downside, by the time we reached one end of the mall, I was sweating a ton. Moar and pix for the bored.

wtf...got home from work and the back door to out apt was open. Thankfully it opens to the backstair case and not outside because I had to go rescue the cat from the 3rd floor.

Wasn't the roomies, wasn't the landlord...df;oigjdo;fijgo;idfjgo;idfjg;oidfjg

And cheap, as of now.

Ashley, how do you think it happened? Someone try to break in? Is anything missing or out of place? Or did the cat just get really bored/smart and figure out how to open the door?!

I have no idea. There's nothing missing (laptop was sitting here, and my door was still shut, etcetc. Plus my other roomie has been home asleep most of the day.) That door we keep locked almost all the time, and it's not the direct outside door. The back door to the porch is always locked, and wasn't open/wasn't broken into.

I called the landlord and he's going to ask the realtor if someone was at the house today.

:D

two days till birthday, one week till Cali, seemed to have lucked out with the boy thing, and getting more clients by the day.

Now only if I was paid on time and my car was fixed...

Yea, trust me...I know. ;) Also depends what type of relationship you have with a client.

That's great news Ash. I tell you what, word of mouth advertising is the best.

Working on another email campaign myself.

Request down payments before you start ANY work. Designers can get ripped off easily.

I have very good relationships with my clients...it's actually Staples that hasn't paid me on time, go figure.
