I hear ya. Same crap at my house. Every year. Ladybugs in the spring, mosquitoes in the summer and those junebug thingies in the fall.

We get stinkbugs. The cats like to play with them...until they start to smell, at which point they just leave the half-dead bug crawling for its life and I have to go clean it up.

My cat will play with them up to a point and then walk away. My wife freaks out when she sees them so either my son or myself get the task of removing them.

I know that feeling. I got pulled over on the way to OCC once. I flashed that military ID and got off with a warning. I'm going to miss that power..

Nice Gary, what did you use for paint? You know you can buy OEM VR in a aerosol can. That's how I painted my rear aero flares. It's such a close match to a true 3 stage process that you can barely tell the difference.

Didn't know you could buy VR...

believe it or not I used Dupli-Color red engine paint (forget which brand). Wasn't sure how it'd match up with VR. It's actually pretty damn close. Not as "bright red" as I was expecting...which is a good thing lol

There's too much to read to catch everything! lol.

I'm thinking of doing something with the rest of the plastic in the engine bay (i.e. Battery cover, intake box, fuse box cover, etc) That flat, faded black annoys the crap out of me. Now that I know I'm not a failure at painting I'm thinking of hitting those with some glossy black...or some mixture of black and red (no idea what I would do though).

Spring modding fever just slapped me in the face...
