Spectacular job Ash....that is funny as hell!

Morning all... Had a talk with the Sherwin Williams guy yesterday and he kept trying to blame me and say that my paint pan was dirty... it was spotless. Then he tried to blame the roller, it was a brand new roller. He said I'm the first customer to complain about this paint and he wouldn't do anything to fix it.. He suggested I "put a small percentage of water" in the paint.. right... I was pretty pissed when I left the place. I'm really tempted to get my paint elsewhere.

I thought a good rule of thumb was to NOT blame the customer.

Wow!!! Def. stay away from that store and sux too because there paint is not exactly cheap. Perhaps that is his arrogant reasoning behind it being 'your' fault. I have heard good things about Benjamin Moore paint, do you have a retailer near you?

Morning NEPOC and thanks for all the kind words on the hood. :D

Morning people, new rotors/pads shipped out yesterday, can't wait til they get here, my current rotors are so disgusting.

Boss is stopping by the job site either tomorrow or Friday so now I'm in a race to catch up on all my paperwork before he gets here.

Probably because you're a woman. Get Luke to crush his car with his Monster RIg.

Which one did you go to? I'll go down with you if you need. If he's an ass we'll be sure to get him fired. It's pretty simple to do. I had the same thing happen at the one in New London I use and the next week the owner was working on Sunday since the guy was fired.

Do you have pictures of your wall?

It's in Avon... I don't have pictures of my wall yet, I literally turned the light off and walked away that night because I was so pissed off at how it turned out. I haven't looked at it since it's been dry, maybe it'll look better (doubtful).

He wasn't a complete a-hole but he wouldn't do anything to help me. Without saying it, he was saying 'tough s***, you're stuck with this paint.' I'm 90% sure he's the manager there. He's there every day during the week that I've been there and there's a younger guy on the weekends.

well, nice surprise today....got my bonus from work....robin said i should be able to buy a lot of "embellishments (mods) this yr for the msm????????
i'll be buying everyone that comes to the spring wash/wax a pack of gum...well i got a bit more than that, i was pleased...in this economy and we lost 11 millon $$ this year...we got bonuses and profit sharing...can't complain at all! 5 more yrs!

So in all of my vacation this is going to be the most relaxing of days! Do not have anything planned at all....until tonight when I bring Kyle to the Sharks game.

have fun! by the way, do you want any of my crap or what? i don't want to sell it if you're still interested

Congrats Mark on the bonus especially given the current economy!

Quick question for all you suspension guru's. I'm going to replace my failing stock struts with 128og miles with new OEM struts and wondering what additional parts I may need. Basically my list contains rubber parts that more than likely may fall apart or be shot upon removal. Just wanted to see what everyone else has done from past experience.

Car has 128k so please keep that in mind. So far my list consists of:

4x endlinks (I'm sure the current ones will have to be cut)
4x spring seats
4x bumpers
2x spring insulator (front)
2x strut bearing (front)
4x strut mount
2x dust shield (rear)

But BIG reason for asking is the OEM struts will cost me $250, endlinks are another $125 or so and the rest of the parts = a staggering $382!!!!!

I have two brand new OEM front end-links you can have. I thought I was going to have to cut mine but Josh worked his magic and got them off. I do not have bolts for them, you'll need the bolts for all the endlinks as I don't think they come in the package.

Awesome Chris...you sure you don't want something for them? I'll order the rears and check into the bolts and who knows....maybe I won't need them.

I can get them at the clean meet.

I'll throw them in the car at some point so they are in there for the cleaning meet...because I know I'll forget otherwise. I only discovered them last week when I was cleaning the basement. Consider it "NEPOC-Pay-It-Forward".

ive gotten to work like...9 hours overtime in the past 4 days. woohoo. wait....nope. working on a promotion though so i cant really complain. gotta look really good until they say "you got the job!" well, we all know how it goes from there. lol.
