Test fit the new wheels today. Need to get them re-balanced because the calipers hit the weights.

Any worries about mice?

Changed the batteries in both remotes the other day. Much better.
Well I was concerned last yr, but I shoved dry sheets all thruout the car under the hood, and the trunk. Threw them under the car and in the exhaust. Come spring I had no sign of mice anywhere!

Won't you have the same problem or are you going to relocate the weights? Any pics of the new wheels?

Great, I did the same thing with mine when I stored her a few years ago. No issues.

Not if they put the weights on the inner and / or outer lips instead of on the barrel of the wheel.

Ad is down so car is gone so no temptation. Wasnt too crazy about the idea of putting another engine in a car but it could have an upside...if the body was in good shape.

Mahk...id be happy to drive the msm over winter for you. Saves storage fees. ;)

Dry sheets? Do explain. I dug a dead mouse out of my lawn tractor last week while changing the oil. He was probably there all summer.

Chris, I think the ol' timer meant to tipe 'dryer' sheets. ;)

As for the real South, I'm only 2.5hrs North of the Mason Dixon Line. haha

Geico is claiming full liability for the accident. That said she goes in on Monday to get an estimate done for the work needed. Getting her fixed at the local Mazda dealer.

Nice Jeff.

Chris, what happened with the emission code?

Not much going on here. Weather is 70's to 80's but supposed to be dropping into the 50's this weekend and not getting much warmer till Thanksgiving. Forecast is for rain but only 30%. Looked like rain all yesterday but nothing came. Been riding the bike and walking the beach. They have these bicycles with huge tires for riding on the sand. But the sand is so hard packed all you need is a mountain bike tire.

They also use modified golf carts raised and large knobby tires. I was going to rent one but they are more expensive than cars, stupid. They are allowed on the streets within Port Aransas.

Went to the library so Mary can get some books. They have a large DVD library, very impressive.

Still haven't taken the car in yet.

"Fat Bikes" are what you are seeing. They are all the rage right now. You can ride them over sand or snow. People up here are buying them to extend the season.

Good morning everyone! Long time no chat. I hope all is well for everyone, it's been too long since I chatted in here, but I digress.

I'd like to let you all know that the 2nd annual Great Mazda Climb is in the works. We'll be doing the event benefitting the Wounded Warrior Project. We'll be hosting it at Mt. GreyLock in Massachusetts. Many more details are to come, I hope to see you all register once i have the information up :)

I've used TinyURL this time since my 6Club links usually fail when I post them :P

Again I hope all is well everyone, I'll be around more often once work slows down and NEM6 is into the next year, we've got a lot of stuff to be working on.
