Yeah that Thule isn't going anywhere. I put more miles on my bike than I do the car. I bought my setup for $100 at a tag sale though.

And of course nothing is ever easy. So one of the wires snapped, and the boot got stuck in the plug hole. So figured it was a good time to get a new set of plugs.

I think it spruces up the engine bay nicely but it makes me realize how much farther I have to go!! EVERYTHING else in there is pretty old and ugly lol

What are you doing Phen? Bigger TC?

Morning all.

Actually BB King was a dissappointment. Showed lasted an hour and 15. He talked a lot in the middle of songs. Still got a sweet voice and can play that guitar, especially considering he's 86. But show was not what I expected. Lot of people starting rushing the stage when he signed auto's. We got up and left.

AutoX starts this Sunday. Getting car teched tonite by our AutoX group and placed in class. Going on a RCMP foaling tour Saturday.

Bummer about the show Bruce. I like Jazz and blues but I never really got into him.

Amanda and I had a busy weekend. We missed going to LRP but made do with local stuff.

Friday night I did some work on the truck. I replaced the exhaust gasket that was leaking with a new thick one I ordered online. Then I pulled apart the front suspension and reseated the spring so it would stop squeaking. It had slipped off the rubber seat and chewed the edge of it. I rotated the rubber and got it all back together with help from my new hydraulic jack.

We spent Saturday by the pool with my
parents and sister and had a cookout.

Sunday we attended a local car show. I entered the REPU in the truck class but competition was tough. A Studebaker pickup took 3rd, a '77 Chevy Custom with a corvette engine took 2nd, and a real nice '53 delivery van with custom interior took 1st.

Monday we drove into the city to see the Red Sox. Seats were great and the game had plenty of action. The Tigers coach got thrown out for arguing a call. There were several home runs from both teams and they ended up winning! When we got home we took the REPU for a spin around Manchester and got ice cream.

Busy weekend for me too.

Jess and I cleaned out the garage on Saturday, dug out space for our vegetable gardens on Sunday, and we had to take the dog to the vet as well. It turns out, the poor little guy has lyme disease..

Yup. Bigger and better. Supposedly, this is the potential.

Ummm, dayum! Hope the install is going well. I did the front brakes Sunday morning and they had me using every four letter word I know...for something that is usually easy.

:( Awww, sad to hear Sean. Our golden was diagnosed with lymes back in 2001 when he was three, was on meds for two months and has been getting the booster every year since. He's been very good up until the last year or so....the disease plus hip dysplasia are wrecking havoc with his back legs. Wish him a speedy recovery!

Yeah, Marty is about 2.5 years old :(

I'm hoping that there isn't any long term damage.. He's such a sweet dog.

Damn....Buddy was about 3.5 when he was diagnosed. The vet said that he would show signs of arthritis as he got older and he is now but overall he's had a pretty good life. He's 13 now and even though he can't do stairs anymore he still acts like a puppy when somebody walks through the door. LOL Marty should be just fine, just make sure he takes his meds and if it is the same now as it was back then, you'll have to take him in for another round of blood work in 30 days. Budman failed that test and spent another 30 days on meds but passed the third test just fine and hasn't showed any symptoms up until recently. Of those I know his age and breed are also working against him so can't really say how much of that would be due to the lymes?

So I'm confused. Not too hard these days, Did you sort of the previous trouble you were having last year??

Our dog was diaged with Lymes years ago. Took treatment for 2 months and she was fine. She will be 15 this summer and still ticking. Little arth in the hind legs but what do you expect for that age. I wouldn't worry about it.

Happy Hump day all.
