First ride in the REPU and Amanda wasn't exactly sold. Now that the exhaust is fixed and she figured out the new dog loves it (windows are a perfect height for him to see out without crawling all over her), she's sold. We drove all over town Monday night and stopped into one of those "Cruise Nights" a few towns over to check out some other classic cars. We were the only import though and were a bit late to get a good spot. So we wandered a bit with the dog and headed home.

There's a car show in Manchester this weekend that we found out about, but I think I'm going to spend the day installing the new clutch master/slave cylinders. Anyone looking for something to do Saturday morning is welcome to stop by and help out.

Life is def better with the MRS approval. And WITHOUT a VW, But that was the only other car she actually liked. I just hhhhhated working on the VR6. SHE HATED ALL THE HONDAS HAHAHAH But on that note, Im 2 weeks from paying off the 4 Kumhos I bought for the Civic before trading it (smash)

Im thinking of picking up these now.

Any thoughts/suggestions?

Man, what's the extent of the damage? I don't get how its totalled? Isn't it worth like 10k$. Kinda seems like he took a WRX style off road trip. Is it me or does that seem like a ton of body damage but FIXABLE?

Could be completely wrong. Probably somethin I can't see. But I've built uglier Honda's than that. And 75% of Honda's driving around look like that ;-) hahaha

I've been seeing a blue MP3/MSP in Lowell lately. And my buddy saw a yellow MSP in Lawrence w a FMIC. Any of you guys? Or know of them? Also, what's everyone's plan this weekend? Any get togethers or cook outs, rides, car washes? lol

Do you still have access to the car? If it is heading to the salvage yard, I could use some new door sail panels (where the tweeters are mounted) for when I revert back to stock. I cut mine up to install larger tweeters.

Happy mothers day guys! hahah I just got yelled at cuz the Mrs wants to take my MSP to work and have it sit in the parking lot, instead of my usual SUNDAY PROJECT DAY. "its mothers day" hahahah NO THANKS!! Probably gonna take junkyard trip and grab a 626 Valve Cover. My gasket leaks and plastic cover is missing. Figure 2 birds 1 stone.


UPDATE:: Went to the junkyard and got myself a 626 valve cover WITHOUT coil packs!! FAIL!!

in other news, the painting is progressing nicely, spent all day fri and sat working on the trim...also painted 18 shutters and two doors, got both porch hand rails and spindles done...tedious work! no miata love ...had a great mothers day with robin and the daughter in law. sunday brunch and some fun with the kids in the afternoon.
looks like we have a soild buyer (family with 3 young boys) for the house. they came by sat. and said there wasn't a thing they didn't love about the house and the location. they live in town on a busy street so the dead end cul de sac was just what they were looking for! also, they know several families on the street and there kids are best friends with their children as well. PERFECT! we told them what we were asking (no real estate) they're suppose to make us an offer tonight. anything close to 450 and it's a done deal! you figure we have to pay real estate almost 25k in fees, so if they offer us 20k less will prob take it to have it gone. as i told you guys in an earlier post, it's costing me 15k a year to live here!
