Ok folks, May 20th is the Hudson Speedway season opener. I've never been (aside from driving past the other day) so I can't claim it will be the time of your life...just that it will at least be "interesting".
The details I have from their primitive website are:

EVERY SUNDAY SPECTATOR RACE - "FLAGPOLE" RACE - SPECTATOR ONE on ONE DRAGS
SPRING SEASON TIMES GATES OPEN at 11:00 - HOT LAPS START at NOON - FIRST RACE STARTS at 1:00
MAY 20 SEASON OPENER ENDUROS plus OUTLAWS , Rookies, Roadrunners & Thunder Lights
I'm thinking we could do the following...
8:00AM - 12:00PM - early morning wrenching and cleaning meet
12:00PM - 1:00PM - BBQ some burgers n stuff
After 1:00 (or whenever we feel like it) carpool over to the track to see what its like. They run lots of short races so if we miss the first one that's fine. Admission is probably just a few bucks (if there is admission at all).
If the 20th works, I'll start a new thread.
