Need Hp

thats not good enough for me thanx though :P

i just went through the first 6 pages of the mazdaspeed section of the forum and found at least 10 threads dealing with bolt ons and other mods which increase hp. it's not that hard, man. don't be lazy and expect people to spoon feed you everything, especially when they had to just spoon feed the last noob who was too dumb to search, or even to look around for that matter.

the worst is a noob coming on here thinking the community owes him something. this is the only thing we owe you: welcome to the friggin boards, sucka... the information is in here. look for it.

Dude, please try to retain some sense of coherence when you post.

Here is my favorite part from above.

I don't care if you hate me I'm not here for friendship, I'm here to plagerize your mods for my benefit.

Welcome to the forum, grab yourself a fork and enjoy your humble pie.

Beautiful. I was waiting for someone to call him out on that...

He did actually make one good point that I have noticed too. The threads here do tend to clog up with personal conversation and comments (I am guilty too). Add to that the fact that we sometimes have several concurrent threads discussing the same issue. I've noticed threads where people are still wondering if Mazda will fix the Hesitation going on even after the thread announcing the new ECU flash was posted.

On the other hand, Bling doesn't seem to see it from the perspective of others. Yeah, if I know something off the top of my head and won't tell you, I am an asshole. However, if I have information that I put in a public place, I have done my duty. I don't have to mail dynos to anyone who asks. Most of us here are not trying to sell anything (and the #1 person who does is practically giving mods away). We are not paid to post and we don't work for Mazda. You can't announce that you are going to profit from the research and experimentation of others and give nothing in return, then wonder why you don't get help.

On the other other hand, often newbies don't even know what the right questions to ask are.

I think the best we can do with this is try to learn from it. Somebody mentioned starting a MSP FAQ. I think that is an excellent idea. The RX-8 site has had one from the start. There it is super easy to tell somebody 'it's in the FAQ stupid'.

Maybe the moderators could start a thread for dyno results. Let posters show stock and modded dynos and a list of mods. Delete any other postings. Then it is all in one place, not page 5 of a 10 page rant about magic turds that has one chart embedded in it where nobody will see it.

I think with sticky threads and a FAQ, this forum could be a lot easier to find information on. Then, once finding info is as easy as falling off a prostitute, we can blast the newbs without worrying that we are being unfair.

Just my 2 cents.
