my car all of a sudden got a eratic idle problem and my cel came on could that b my plugs going bad there the oe ones with 45000 miles on them eny help would be nice thanks

could be your egr valve all crapped up as it causes many idling problems

bad idle is caused by a couple of things, including IAT sensor, EGR valve, vacuum leaks, bad plugs, dirty TB etc. check everything

Checks for loose couplers/pipes and vacuum leaks, as they are the most common causes for such symptoms. What code is the car throwing? Do you have a boost guage? If so what is the vacuum reading at idle?

Did you ever bother to get the code read?

ya i got it read and it said some thing about the maf so i checked it and the honey comb fell into the way of the sensor so it was reading all funny
