Thanks , the car did amazing, I drove well not as good as i could , data showed a few mistakes that cost me around 7/10's. Although good results , going to Blytheville.
Also working on a new set up, so if you or anybody is interested I might be selling my Suspension set up which includes, KSport Coilovers, with a extra set of springs (4) with custom rate, and the rear AST shocks with custom rate Hypercoil springs. A Ford Fiesta Front Sway bar with Powerflex bushings.

just get me a PM

If you already have Ksports or other brand you just need the AST's and front custom springs.

This set up proven to get great National Level results.

KSPORT Coilovers with extra 4 springs $ 750
AST Rear shocks with Hypercoil springs $ 900
Fiesta front sway bar (22 mm) with Powerflex bushings $ 100

All this plus shipping

Another good result in Blytheville, congrats on the quickest time right side! I always have trouble left side courses. It's that counter clockwise thing I guess.

I'll see how my setup is and let you know.. I've changed just about everything from last year but the front Bilsteins, so let me see how it goes.

Great job again on P3.

Random question did you measure that fiesta bar and the stock one? The stock front bar is 19mm.

I was wondering that same thing, but I figured I'd read our stock bar size incorrectly. I was actually planning to crawl under my car tomorrow and measure it to be sure.

You are right The Fiesta one is 22mm also 2 lbs. heavier. I went by what Andy Hollis told me as far as I remember. Shinier one in the picture:

So Andres what are you replacing the the AST stuff with?

Is a work in progress, at this point since the car is working so well as it is, I might not need it . why fix it if is not broken. On the other hand there is always that "what if " feeling; money is tight right now and my plans of going to DC and Spring Nationals are priority.

Andres

PS. did you see the results from San Diego? Impressive yaris', drivers !! Do you know them? Details on the cars? Same power like yours?

Yep know those drivers pretty well. Travis typically drives an stockish celica in DSP and Alvin owns the car. We've been going back and forth over the past year.

Car is really simple, Fortune coilovers (really soft from what I remember 350f/300r something like that), 21mm rear bar, muffler delete, 15x7 wedsport with Federal 595 RSR tires, full f/r alignment, with an otherwise stock engine.

San Diego is a weird surface, he made a good choice with running the Federals vs the Rivals or Dunlops.

I talked to Scott, he said Travis is very fast. Also I keep hearing more and more about people using the Federals. reading about them, they seem to be really soft and sticky, but get overheated easy. Loike the design , might be good for rainy days;

They also can crack like Rivals but for the price $73 / tire starting to sound attractive.

Travis does quite well in DSP in his stockish Celica vs the real DSP cars.

SD surface is in rough shape, and its very gritty and dirty. Tires that handle rain well tend to work there. Rivals don't work on that surface because the tread depth is to shallow from the get go, Dunlops work okay if there brand new, and Toyos are fantastic if there new. Given the circumstances on Sat I really think the Federals were a good choice. Cold, drying surface, and Qualcomms gritty surface.

New activities protocol require some changes and improvements. Due to the decent performance of the car at national level and the fact that I am moving again I decided to upgrade my car with a towing hitch that of course will be removed to compete since is 25lbs. extra. 30 min installation probably at the most.

Called etrailer.com Talked to Rose, she was amazing,, in two days I had my hitch ready to rock and Roll !!! Washington DC here i come !!
